Even a Jaguar Land Rover. Here is the updated Jaguar Land Rover price list with the goods and services tax (GST) rated at 0% from June 1, 2018 until the implementation of sales and service tax (SST).

Naza Italia, the official importer and distributor for Maserati in Malaysia, has announced the arrival of the refreshed Maserati GranTurismo. Zero GST - Perodua Updates its Prices

So far, we've been receiving a lot of e-mails from distributors and manufacturers about their car prices following the Zero Rated GST decision by the government pending a return to SST type of sales taxes. Now, we'd like to share with you that Perodua, the Malaysian compact car manufacturer has announced that they will fully reimburse the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to customers who purchase a new Perodua vehicle, service their Perodua vehicle or buy parts between 18 and 31 May 2018, ahead of the zero-rated GST implementation on 1 June 2018. So you now do not need to wait till the 1st of June if you want to buy a Perodua as you'll still benefit.

Zero GST - Revised Prices of New Volkswagen Cars in Malaysia After 1st June 2018

Official distributors of Volkswagen cars here, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM), today announced the updated prices of its model range, effective 1st of June 2018 in lieu of the Zero percentage rated GST which would take effect 1st of June 2018. The new prices will remain in effect until the reintroduction of the Sales and Services Tax (SST) as it was announced by the Government.

Bogward, the recently resurfaced German brand has shown its face here in Malaysia at the recent Malaysia Autoshow 2018 where they previewed their BX5 and BX7 models. This the the second time the Bogward name has been used, the first, and original Bogward started producing cars under various nameplates like Goliath, Hansa Lloyd and also Bogward from the 1920s to about 1963 when the company was forced into liquidation. There seems to have been a big turn of events in the world of commercial vehicles. The Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Commercial Vehicles (MBM CV) business has been acquired by Hap Seng Trucks Distribution Sdn Bhd. What this means is that everything that used to be handled by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, via MBM CV is now handled by Hap Seng Trucks Distribution. This includes handling the import of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles (trucks, etc), the local assembly, the wholesale distribution and aftersales service of Mercedes-Benz and FUSO commercial vehicles in Malaysia.

Mercedes-Benz Unveils The China Only A-Class L Sedan Variant - Let's Hope It Gets a Global Launch Soon!

Mercedes-Benz have revealed a production version of the A-Class Sedan on the eve of Beijing's Auto China 2018 motor show. The A-Class L Sedan variant is made in China for the China market. I hope this is only something temporary as there is talk that the sedan will be launched globally sometime at the end of this year as a 2019 model. But for now, China, being the largest automobile market in the world takes priority and gets something which is typically China market, a 'L' or long wheelbase version of the smallest sized car sold as a Mercedes-Benz.

Shell Malaysia Road Safety Movement or in the era of hashtags, the #ShellSelamatSampai (#SSS) is a Shell Malaysia CSR programme. The programme is all about road safety awareness and behavioural change among motorcyclists and the youth, who are said to have the highest fatality rate in road accidents in Malaysia. So for 2018, Shell Malaysia has launched another round of it this #SSS campaign with four major programmes aimed at putting through the importance of road safety among the target audience.
