Maxim e-hailing drivers are mostly called Ahmad, between 18 to 35 years old and drives a Perodua here in Malaysia


Do you know that there has been an e-hailing ride service in Malaysia called Maxim? Anyway, the company has been operating here for quite a while now (since 2018) and had conducted a recent survey on their drivers for us to find out about who these people are. Maxim, who operate in about eleven countries globally, are onwards toward being one of the world's prominent ride hailing service. They have tractable data of application, driver, passenger and history of ride, the users get the opportunity to know more about their drivers and the type of car that they can expect for their booking.

GoCar Launches the GoEV Programme - Another Way Try Out an EV car without Buying One


GoCar, an on-demand mobility-as-a- service platform here in Malaysia had launched its GoEV programme earlier today. Their aim for this new program is to put more electric vehicles (EVs) on the road in Malaysia. For its pilot phase, the GoEV programme is currently available within the Klang Valley with a fleet of 25 units of the latest generation fully electric Nissan Leaf for sharing and subscription. With this option, those who are interested in EVs but aren't sure can just try out short term plans before making up their minds on EVs.

Perodua Secures its First Ride-Sharing Fleet Purchase Ever - 1,000 Units of the Perodua Bezza and Axia

Perodua have announced that a ride-hailing and a ride-sharing service provider operating in Malaysia have purchased a combined 1,000 Axias and Bezzas. According to Perodua, the fleet sale to these service providers was significant to Perodua as it opens up yet another market for the compact carmaker.

SOCAR, The Car-Sharing Service Adds 50 Volkswagen Polo 1.6 To Service The Klang Valley


A fleet of 50 Volkswagen Polo 1.6 will be made available to the general public under SOCAR, the car-sharing service where people can use several types of cars via a smartphone application. These will be in use in and around the Klang Valley at the moment and is another form of ride-sharing. This time, you actually rent the whole car and drive it yourselves rather than the Grab, or Uber (now defunct in Malaysia) where you get someone and his car to drive you anywhere you want to go.

Grab, Southeast Asia's leading ride-sharing or ride-hailing company has a new partner here in Malaysia. Grab Malaysia has teamed up with Maxx 'N Go, which is under the Maxxoil brand. Both have their similarities where Grab utilises smartphone apps for people to hail rides whilst Maxx 'N Go uses smartphone apps to hail oil change servicing for vehicles.
