Hello folks! This is something different. An interview with Mr Micheal Jopp, the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Passenger Cars of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia. This was done during the launch of the 2019 refreshed Mercedes-AMG GT R & GT C sports cars at Sepang recently. It is quite different from most normal interviews as I don't ask anything about sales numbers or figures. Only about AMG, Mercedes-Benz and their cars, old and new.

The Latest Mercedes-AMG GT R & GT C Have Been Launched For The Malaysian Market

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has just launched the latest, and greatest production Mercedes-AMG cars here in Malaysia. These are the full fat, whipped cream with chocolate topping iced-latte, Mercedes-AMG GT R and the also as juicy but more livable, slightly low fat, GT C variant. They are now available for purchase at all Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Autohauses for RM RM 1,712,888 and RM 1,558,888 respectively. 

Subaru XV GT Edition Launched in Malaysia - New XV Variant for RM130,788 OTR without Insurance

TC Subaru, the distributor of Subaru in Malaysia has just launched the 2019 Subaru XV GT Edition. This is one that sits above the XV 2.0i-P variant and gets a special aero kit and other extra bits for about RM4,000 over the price of the XV 2.0i-P. It costs RM130,788 OTR without insurance in Peninsula Malaysia and was designed in collaboration with Giken Co Ltd and Mr Masahiko 'Jack' Kobayashi, who used to be the former Chief Designed at Subaru.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Launches the new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+ as well as the GT 43 & 53 Variants Too

The new four door coupe by Mercedes-AMG has now arrived on our shores...officially. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the new Mercedes-AMG GT four door Coupe series of cars. It is priced from RM1,798,888 onwards for the GT 63 S 4MATIC+ variant and from RM1,298,888 for the GT 53 4MATIC+ and RM1,098,888 for the 'entry-level' GT 43 4MATIC+. Do note that we get the '+' or Plus variant only. It is fully kitted up with the AMG Aerodynamics Package, the AMG Exterior Night Package and the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, making this one complete variant brought into Malaysia by the premium car maker.

Pre-Motorshow News: Naza Automotive Group to Showcase Peugeot, DS, Citroen & Kia to Name a Few Brands at KLIMS 2018

This is another Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2018 (KLIMS 2018) pre-show update folks. The Naza Automotive Group will be showcasing a range of passenger and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, accessories and alot more at KLIMS 2018 which will be held at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 23 rd November until 2 nd December 2018. Some of the highlights include Peugeot, DS and Citroën and Kia.

The 2018MY Maserati GranTurismo is Now Available in Malaysia

The 2018 Model Year Maserati GranTurismo has made it to our shores. Naza Italia, the official importer and distributor for Maserati in Malaysia, has announced the arrival of the refreshed Maserati GranTurismo. First launched in 2007, this 2018 refresh is quite substantial as the model has basically carried on for that long a time. According to the brief, there is a more aerodynamic exterior styling made to the  Pininfarina-designed GranTurismo, and an intuitive new driver interface and infotainment system. 

2018 Renault Megane GT is AlreadyOn Sale - The Price Is A Little Eye Watering However...

TC Euro Cars, the authorised distributors of Renault here in Malaysia are actually selling the new Renault Megane GT. The Megane 4th Generation was first launched over in Europe at the end of 2015 with sales commencing in 2016. Now, in 2018 the car is officially on sale, albeit quietly, without much fanfare here in Malaysia (only on preview at the recent Malaysia AutoShow 2017 a while back).  Great looking car, but the price for this C segment GT hatchback is RM228,000.00. A little eye watering...

THE ALL-NEW RENAULT MEGANE GT TO BE DISPLAYED AT THE MALAYSIA AUTOSHOW 2017

The upcoming Malaysia Autoshow 2017 scheduled for the 9th to the 12th of November. Malaysia's premier autoshow will be where TC Euro Cars, official franchise holder of Renault in Malaysia, reveal the new Renault Megane GT. The Megane is Renault's C segment hatchback and it was first launched at the end of 2015 with sales first starting in Europe in July of 2016. It has taken Renault awhile to bring it over but we will finally get to see this interesting looking hatchback.
