Media Statement By UMW Toyota Motor on the Toyota Rush Recall in Philippines - IT DOES NOT AFFECT US HERE AT ALL
The Official Media Release by UMW Toyota Motor on the reports regarding the new Toyota Rush having issues over in the Philippines is placed below. It seems the RUSH 7 Seater SUV is suffering Airbag ECU issues over there. But do not fret, as UMW Toyota Motor has announced that there is no issue affecting our Toyota Rush sold here.

TEST DRIVE - First Impressions of the New 2019 Toyota Rush 1.5 S
Sometime during the 4th quarter of 2018 I had a chance to participate in a short media drive of the all-new 2019 Toyota Rush 7 Seater compact SUV. This happened during the recent preview of the car recently. Three of us motoring media folks shared a Rush and we drove from MAEPS in Serdang to Cyberjaya, Putrajaya and back. It was a short couple of hours but if you watched the video on YouTube, we did manage to try it out on the highways, city streets and also some dirt roads around the Cyberjaya/Putrajaya area.

Hyundai IONIQ, Toyota C-HR & Toyota Rush Awarded 5 Star ASEAN NCAP Safety Ratings - Announcement Held in Conjunction With the Opening of the MIROS Gallery
The ASEAN NCAP test programme continues where three cars were recently given the ASEAN NCAP 5 star rating for their crash test ratings. The New Car Assessment Programme for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) performed its latest crash tests exercise for the second quarter of 2018 on three models sold within the ASEAN region. The three models which were tested on their crash- worthiness were the Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid (above), Toyota Rush and Toyota C-HR.
