GoCar Launches the GoEV Programme - Another Way Try Out an EV car without Buying One


GoCar, an on-demand mobility-as-a- service platform here in Malaysia had launched its GoEV programme earlier today. Their aim for this new program is to put more electric vehicles (EVs) on the road in Malaysia. For its pilot phase, the GoEV programme is currently available within the Klang Valley with a fleet of 25 units of the latest generation fully electric Nissan Leaf for sharing and subscription. With this option, those who are interested in EVs but aren't sure can just try out short term plans before making up their minds on EVs.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Previews the New EQC Electric Vehicle - Scheduled To Be On Sale Here in 2020


Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has made Malaysia the first Southeast Asian appearance of the Mercedes-Benz EQC fully electric vehicle. This is the first Mercedes-Benz under the product and technology brand EQ,which will define the future of mobility according to the Three Pointed Star. Right now the EQC 400 has been previewed in Left-Hand Drive form and it should be on sale here sometime next year.

SOCAR, The Car-Sharing Service Adds 50 Volkswagen Polo 1.6 To Service The Klang Valley


A fleet of 50 Volkswagen Polo 1.6 will be made available to the general public under SOCAR, the car-sharing service where people can use several types of cars via a smartphone application. These will be in use in and around the Klang Valley at the moment and is another form of ride-sharing. This time, you actually rent the whole car and drive it yourselves rather than the Grab, or Uber (now defunct in Malaysia) where you get someone and his car to drive you anywhere you want to go.
