Zero GST - New GST Zero-Rated Prices Announced for Ford models in Malaysia & SDAC 10th Anniversary Promotions + Raya Promos Etc. Etc.

More Zero percent rated GST updates. This time from Ford in Malaysia.

Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the sole distributor of Ford in Malaysia, has announced the updated prices for its full range of Ford models that are officially sold in Malaysia, effective 1 June 2018 in conjunction with the Government's implementation of the zero-rated GST.
Lots of savings if you buy a Ford Mustang 5.0 - RM33,000 and lesser if you buy something like a Ford Ranger, of course - RM7,000 thereabouts.

The new prices will remain in effect until the reintroduction of the sales and services tax (SST). Those who intend to buy a new Ford should take advantage of this tax-free period. You can put in your bookings now, especially if you want financing as the loan documents can be submitted and approved so that they can enjoy the GST savings come 1st June, as well as other on-going promotions from SDAC. If you are a cash buyer and want a Ford, be patient as 1st June is just around the corner.

All prices stated are on-the- road, excluding insurance and any short-term promotional offers. Do note that SDAC and Ford are no longer offering cars like the Mondeo or the Focus anymore as they are not listed in here. What a shame as these are nice cars.

In addition to passing down savings from the removal of the GST, customers can enjoy more benefits through SDAC's ongoing promotions and prizes that is part of their ‘Triple Celebration’ campaign. SDAC are really giving out the goodies this time around. If you really want that Ford of yours, I think this is the time. Heck, Zero Rated GST is really making me wish I was also looking for a new car too.

SDAC’s 10th anniversary promotions and prizes
In conjunction with its 10-year anniversary, SDAC is offering incredible deals on selected models until 30 June 2018.

Big carrot dangled here folks! Customers who purchase a Ford Mustang will get to drive home a free brand-new Ford Fiesta 1.5L Sport. This is quite amazing. When you buy a RM500,000-600,000 car, getting a RM80 over thousand car is still an amazing deal. Go ask SDAC how to go about this!

Limited units of the Ford S-Max are also on offer at celebratory prices starting from RM147,000. Driving around in one of the less common MPV is quite a nice thing. Not to mention that it drives very well for such a vehicle. More Mondeo than people mover! Click here to read about our test drvie of the S-MAX.

Aside from the above, purchase any Ford Ranger Wildtrak variant and you can receive free service and maintenance for two years or 40,000km (whichever comes first).

Customers who purchase any Ford Ranger variant can be in the running to win fantastic prizes including a grand prize of one brand new Ford Fiesta 1.5L Sport and 15 units of Huawei Mate 10 Pro smartphones. Winners are determined through a monthly lucky draw, with five smartphones to win each month. With the first draw completed, there are still 10 units of smartphones to be won. The grand prize winner will be announced after the final draw in June.

One More Triple Celebration with ‘Raya Joy & Enjoy’ 13-day only sales promotion
To add to the festivities, SDAC is offering more attractive prizes with the ‘Raya Joy & Enjoy’ sales promotion, which will run from 1 June to 13 June 2018.

Through this Raya promotion, one daily prize in the form of electronic goods, a smartphone or a gadget is up for grabs over 13 days in the countdown to the Hari Raya festival.

The ‘Raya Joy & Enjoy’ offer is valid for registration of any Ford model within the promotional period. Customers are strongly encouraged to book and submit all their loan documents now so they can still be in time to register their vehicles from 1 – 13 June and be in the running to win.

Visit SDAC’s multilingual website (www.sdacford.com.my), which also features a chatbot now available in three languages – English, Bahasa Malaysia and Simplified Chinese – for more information on all their current promotions.
