Sisma Auto Hub 3S Centre in Sungai Besi has Opened - Sisma's premium Multi-Brand 3S Centre to buy, sell or service any luxury car

Hot on the heels of their recently opened Volvo 3S centre in Sungai Besi,  the new SISMA Auto Hub 3S Centre has now opened at Wisma SISMA Auto at Lebuhraya Sungai Besi. The strategically located centre offers a premium multi-brand 3S experience for customers to buy, sell or service any brand of luxury car and it is the second SISMA Auto Hub following the success of the Glenmarie outlet which opened in February of 2022.

The SISMA Jaguar Land Rover showroom in Glenmarie, Shah Alam has been transformed to a new multi brand 3S centre for the automotive brands carried by the company. SISMA Auto recently announced the opening of SISMA Auto Hub, its new premium multi-brand 3S centre for customers to buy, sell or service any brand of luxury car, at what was previously the Jaguar Land Rover 3S centre at Glenmarie, Shah Alam.You basically can buy new and used Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo cars as well as other premium (mostly certified used ones) makes which they will be selling here as well as get them serviced too. Note the Aston Martin and the classic Porsche 911 in the photograph below.

The Very Luxurious All-New Land Rover Defender Finally Gets its Malaysian Debut

Finally, the re-imagined new Land Rover Defender 110 has arrived in Malaysia. It has taken awhile, namely due to the pandemic dropping in and making life a little bit different from everyone but it is here. Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia launched the new Defender with two variants, namely the 2.0L 300PS Ingenium 4-cylinder Electronic Control, Direct-injection petrol engine and the 3.0L 400PS MHEV (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle) 6-cylinder petrol engine. 

The asking price of the 2.0L 300PS variant starts from RM798,800 while the 3.0L 400PS MHEV starts from RM998,800 (price is inclusive of 50% Penjana Sales Tax waiver, excluding Road Tax, Registration and Insurance). But if you add the optional roof rack or the optional snorkel ad utility box you see in the car below, its going to be a whole lot more. Yes, the price is nothing like the price of the old Defender 110 when it was offered here but this re-imagined Defender is nothing like the old namesake actually.

Today, the 12th of April 2021, I was invited to witness  the official launch of Sime Darby Motors' automotive facility, Sime Darby Motors City. While operating for quite a while already in the township of Ara Damansara in Petaling Jaya, it was only officially launched today due to the many pandemic lockdown issues the country is facing. So after an actual postponement of an earlier scheduled official opening, Sime Darby officially launched the automotive complex today. The complex houses six flagship centres featuring many brands represented by Sime Darby Motors in Malaysia, namely BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, MINI, Motorrad, Porsche and Volvo. The automotive centre aims to be an exemplary hub for everything automotive for automotive sales industry.

The Last Overland Expedition Makes it Back to the UK - Covering 23 countries from Singapore to London

The Last Overland Expedition, an expedition taking after the original one from 1955-1956, has finally completed its journey. A 19,000 km road journey from Singapore to London, which could be said as a reprise of the original expedition which did London to Singapore (i.e vice versa route). It journeyed through 23 countries and it will be documented into a TV documentary series scheduled for release sometime in 2020.

The Last Overland Expedition Makes a Stop in Kuala Lumpur - From Singapore to London in a 1955 Land Rover Series I Much Like The First One in 1955

The Last Overland expedition by the 1955 Oxford Land Rover from London to Singapore, arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, the 26th of August 2019  after flagging off in Singapore on the 25th of August. This very unique Land Rover expedition team started their journey from Singapore to London on Sunday and it, in some ways traces what could be one of the most historic automotive events of the 20th Century. The team aims to recreate the original 1955 route charted by The Oxford & Cambridge Far Eastern Expedition (The First Overland). And this, is the Last Overland, which basically uses one of the two Land Rover Series I used in the First Overland expedition. To date, JLRM has sold over 1,600 units of the Evoque since its local launch at the end of 2011. And this year, the Evoque now comes with more new features, which also tell us that Jaguar Land Rover does continuous improvements towards their products. This keeps them fresh and it also keeps people like me excited to continue writing about them.

A truly bittersweet moment, as it is sad to see an icon leave us but it also leaves us in anticipation of its successor.
