PROTON Announces Price Reduction of 1.2% to 5.7% for Their Vehicle Models - UPDATED With Price List


In line with the Malaysian government’s recent announcement of zero sales tax (0%SST) for cars sold in Malaysia for a six month period beginning 15 June 2020 to 31 December 2020, PROTON will reduce its car prices by 1.2% - 5.7%. The new reduction in prices reflect the zero SST incentive which is a measure implemented by the Malaysian government to try boost the economy as the country emerges from its COVID-19 induced lockdown.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia announces new SST pricelists & Product Upgrades - Namely the GLC 200, GLC 250 and New Night Edition Variants for the GLA 200 & CLA 200


Mercedes-Benz Malaysia had earlier today announced effective September 1, 2018, prices of all Mercedes-Benz premium automobiles are adjusted according to the government’s enactment of SST. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also states that the company is committed to continue providing its premium range of products and services at the best value, putting their customers at the centre of their activities.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia Revises Its Service Pricing Guide In Line With Zero GST


Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) have announced the updated Service Pricing Guide of Volkswagen cars reflecting the zero GST rating which begins today, 1st June 2018. This is in-line with the implementation of zero percent GST by the Malaysian government which has taken into effect.

Zero GST - Revised Prices of New Volkswagen Cars in Malaysia After 1st June 2018


Official distributors of Volkswagen cars here, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM), today announced the updated prices of its model range, effective 1st of June 2018 in lieu of the Zero percentage rated GST which would take effect 1st of June 2018. The new prices will remain in effect until the reintroduction of the Sales and Services Tax (SST) as it was announced by the Government.

Zero Rated GST For Proton Sales and Service in Line with New Government Policy Changes [Uptated]


With the change of the new ruling party comes the promised removal of the Goods & Service Tax (GST), which caused a major outcry and may have been the main cause for the recent election results going the way it did. Anyway, an announcement was made recently that GST would be zero rated (0%) with effect 1st June 2018 before any reversal to the Sales & Service Tax format are made. In conjunction with this Proton has decided to offer an interim pricing scheme to ensure that their customers, both new car sales and also after sales, will benefit from the change.
