Shell Café recently crowned the champion of its first-ever Shell Café Barista Cup at Urbanscapes 2026 today, after 10 baristas from Shell Cafes across Malaysia competed to showcase the skill, creativity, and technical expertise behind the everyday Shell Café coffee experience. This followed from a series of challenges, the field was narrowed from 10 baristas to the top five, before Muhammad Al Syamil Muhammad Nasir (Shell LPT 2 R&R Paka KT Bound) was crowned the inaugural Shell Café Barista Cup Malaysia 2026 Champion. Muhammad Haziq Mohd Yusoff (Shell Bukit Jalil TPM) took second place, while Nurul Salfika Mohd Abijurini (Shell NSE Tanjung Malim North Bound) finished third. Making coffee pays off, for Shell Cafe baristas, that is.
