BMW Group Malaysia Sold 12,680 Units of BMW vehicles, MINI and BMW Motorrad In 2017 - Another Super Successful Year For the Premium Brand

BMW Group Malaysia has announced that the premium automotive manufacturer sold 12,680 units of BMW, MINI and BMW motorrad (motorcycle) vehicles in 2017. This was a jump of 16% compared to 2016 where the group sold 10,906 units in total. From 12,680 units of 2017, BMW cars  were the largest earners for the group with  10,618 units, followed by 1,010 MINI vehicles and this was followed by 1,052 units of its BMW motorcycles. 2017 was a good year for BMW here in Malaysia.

Jaguar Land Rover (Malaysia), or JLRM in short, has announced the launch of the new Land Rover Discovery. The fifth generation Discovery, or Disco as it is also called by its adoring fans was first launched way back in September of 2016. I do get excited these days when a Renault Sport hatchback is announced. Take this limited edition Renault Clio R.S. 18 . It may not be totally new, but it does stir some emotion in me. This latest outing of the Clio R.S is based on the top of the range Clio, the R.S. 220 EDC Trophy. It celebrates Renault Sport's participation in Formula One, and was introduced in conjunction with Renault's 40th anniversary of Formula One in 2017. Analysis: Proton Sold 70,991 Cars in 2017 - More Improvements To Come In 2018

It seems that PROTON has managed to somewhat stem the tide in terms of overall falling sales over the past two years or so. The Malaysian car manufacturing company recorded an overall sale of 70,991 units for 2017. Whilst this was a slight drop from the previous year - 72,291 units in 2016, the actual facts behind the figures show a positive outcome for Proton rather a totally negative one.

New Colours For The 2018 Ford Ranger - Meteor Grey for the Wildtrak and Cool White for the FX4

Spotted: Classic Mercedes-Benz W108 S-Class

I Spotted this immaculate W108 Mercedes-Benz S-Class yesterday while at the bank. This is most likely the later, late 1960s 280S model which somehow was more than the earlier 250S or 300S variants here in Malaysia. It is great to see classic cars like this still in use and in fantastic condition.

Hyundai KONA Receives 5 Stars For The Euro NCAP

Hyundai Motor’s All-New KONA has received the maximum five-star safety rating from the independent vehicle assessment organisation Euro NCAP.
