Hyundai Sime Darby Guarantees Zero-Rated GST Price for IONIQ and Tucson for Booking Placed by 31 August 2018

If you still want to take the opportunity to buy a car under this zero GST period you can still do so, if you intend to purchse a Hyundai. Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HDSM) have stated that customers who have made bookings for the Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid and the *Tucson (*applicable only for the Turbo and Elegance variant) need not worry about paying the sales and service tax (SST), even if their vehicle is delivered after 1st September 2018.

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) have announced that there is an ongoing service promotion at all Hyundai authorised service centres now offers up to 20 percent discount on selected genuine parts until 31 July 2018. They also would like to take the opportunity to inform their customers to service their vehicles exclusively at authorised Hyundai service centres where the spare parts used for any servicing or repairs are genuine.

Hyundai KONA Receives 5 Stars For The Euro NCAP

Hyundai Motor’s All-New KONA has received the maximum five-star safety rating from the independent vehicle assessment organisation Euro NCAP. Before I start with the details of the Hyundai Ioniq, let me do the obligatory introductory ramble..... In the early 1990s, somewhere around the time when I first started driving the average 1.6liter family sedan made somewhere in the region of 110-125hp and about 145-150nm worth of torque. It was a period where everyone threw in multi-valve cylinder heads on to their engines and the first proper use of multi-point fuel injection. It was all actually quite good for the compact, lightweight, pre-safety feature family sedan which had seat belts and gosh, side-impact beams at the very most. Even airbags were optional or non-existent.

Hyundai Sime Darby Motors has launched the Hyndai IONIQ Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) in Malaysia. The 'driving device' will be sold in two specifications - the IONIQ HEV and the IONIQ HEV Plus. The prices offered are surprising as their previous press release stated the car to be around the RM130,000 price range. Now at its launch, they've surprised us as the IONIQ HEV comes in at RM103,390.27 OTR with insurance and RM114,165.87 for the IONIQ HEV Plus.

Hyundai have unveiled a new promotion on older Hyundai models that are no longer under warranty. Older Hyundai car owners can now enjoy savings from participating Hyundai service centres which are now offering free labour on lube change service (engine oil and oil filter) for these out of warranty models. Apart from waiving the labour charge on lube change service, participating Hyundai service centres will also be performing a free 20-point inspection on cars which include brake pads, bearings, tyres, windshield wipers, radiator fluid, spark plug, etc.

2016 Hyundai Tucson achieves high crash test ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in America

The current Hyundai Tucson compact SUV has achieved pretty outstanding crash protection ratings from the American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently. It is the only vehicle in the compact SUV category that actually received high ratings for the driver and passenger in the latest round of IIHS small-overlap crash tests.
