DENZA Malaysia officially unveiles the DENZA Z9GT EV - RM358K for 1,156ps!!!!

Oh wow. If any of you have RM400,000 lying around in your bank account and you like either, 1,156PS cars and/ or an EV that is very rapid, you will be quite happy. DENZA Malaysia has officially unveiled the DENZA Z9GT, this isn't just a Malaysian debut, but an Asia Pacific first ever debut making this country quite an important market for the brand. The Z9GT will have aw a starting price of RM358,800 before any insurance. So much power for less than half a million Ringgit can be considered as good value these days.

The launch event at the KLCC grounds, celebrated the arrival of DENZA’s latest flagship model through a fusion of automotive innovation and luxury artistry. Guests were immersed in a multi-sensory experience featuring a 16-piece string quartet, an opera performance, a ballerina showcase and dynamic demonstrations highlighting the DENZA Z9GT’s advanced capabilities, including its Compass Turn and Crab Walk functions powered by the e 3 Platform. 

The evening was attended by Mr Liu Xueliang, Vice President of BYD and General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division, who shared BYD’s remarkable journey of technological advancement, global growth and its commitment to redefining intelligent mobility. Mr Liu highlighted BYD’s continued investment in innovation, supported by a global team of more than 123,000 R&;D engineers dedicated to advancing new energy vehicle technologies.He stated that technology innovation remains deeply embedded in BYD’s DNA, driving the company’s pursuit of safer, smarter and more efficient mobility solutions.

This is an EV of extremely high performance levels. You're looking at 0-100kmh of 2.7 seconds and actually offers 701km range (NEDC) - which we state that you could get up to 600km realistically if you drive sensibly AND, and, you don't do 2.7 seconds traffic light accelerations all the time.

What EV cars allow is immense acceleration figures. Of course, do expect sooner than expected charging times. But times are interesting as you can now afford blackout inducing acceleration from a car under RM400k these days. Of course, it has 4 doors, you can bring your family and make then feel the nausea like acceleration. A bonus for the amount of practicality. And it also has the same power, and looks better than a Ferrari Luce. That, is progress.
