Campaigns: Naza Kia Malaysia Continues Its East Coast Flood Relief Programme In Light Of Current Events

Naza Kia Malaysia, the official distributor of KIA vehicles in Malaysia has announced that it is extending its flood relief programme as continuous effort on their part to address customers’ plight and urgent needs in light of the recent flash floods in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The offer has been extended from 10th of January to the 28th of February 2018.

Kia car owners affected by the flash floods in the East Coast can send their vehicle to any authorised Kia outlets in the East Coast region for free vehicle inspection and professional advice. Naza Kia Malaysia is also offering a discount of up to 50% for genuine Kia parts replacement as well as discounted labour rates for affected vehicles. Of course, this is subject to the degree of damage incurred in the vehicle and this flood relief programme is only available for affected genuine parts in Kia vehicles uninsured for natural disaster (those that are insured should not need to worry at all as the insurance would cover most damages). So do take note.

Participating Naza Kia Outlets are as follows:
1 NKM Kuantan Red Cube, Pahang
2 Autohaus Prima Sdn Bhd, Terengganu
3 Sri Baru Fast Automobile Sdn Bhd, Kelantan

Meanwhile, car owners not only limited to Kia can take the following safety precautions to prevent major
damage to their vehicles especialy if it has been hit by deep enough flood waters (i.e the car is basically submerged):

1. Do not attempt to start your vehicle or turn on ignition switch.
2. Manually unlock your vehicle’s doors using the key to avoid failure of electronic
parts from remote alarm usage.
3. Immediately disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electricity flow
within your vehicle.
4. Lodge a police report and inform your insurance company.
5. Remove valuables from your vehicle before manually locking your vehicle.
6. Make arrangements to tow your vehicle to the nearest Naza Kia service centre
for inspection.

Meanwhile, Naza Kia Malaysia have launched the all-new Kia Picanto here in Malaysia.
