The 2025 Isuzu D-Max Low-Ride 4x2 MT pick-up truck which Isuzu Malaysia says is dependable yet versatile workhorse and one that is aimed at urban and sub-urban businesses that require easy loading, excellent space and low running costs to boost their business efficiency yet being affordable. With an on-the-road without insurance price from RM92,199.20 (Peninsular Malaysia), RM94,279.60 (Sabah) and RM 94,170.30 (Sarawak), the Isuzu D-Max Low-Ride will be one of the most affordable pick-up trucks on the road

The current Isuzu D-Max enters the record books by completing a 2,000km trip on a single tank of diesel


 Range anxiety? What range anxiety if you have a diesel pickup truck? Recently, the Isuzu D-Max has proven its fuel consumption, or lack of consumption, capabilities again when all three units of the latest Isuzu D-Max successfully drove  2,000km using only the contents of its 76-litre fuel tank. This proves the fuel efficiency of the D-Max which had, some time ago,  completed the journey from Bangkok to Singapore, a distance of 1,809km, with one tank of diesel.

Isuzu Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (IMSB) recently appointed Mr. Atsunori Murata as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) - 3rd from Left. As the COO, he will be overseeing all operational aspects under the Commercial Vehicle Division. Mr. Murata has been with Isuzu Motors Limited since 1998.

Bodybuilding isn't just for human body building. If you are in the trucking industry it also means customising  cargo carrying bodies for trucks. There are a select few of these coachbuilding or customised bodybuilders in the industry and truck and bus manufacturers depend on them to build up the bare truck or bus chassis. So recently, Isuzu Malaysia recently conducted a special gathering session for Isuzu truck bodybuilders, from 13 th to 14 th April 2018, at the Ombak Villa in Langkawi, Kedah to give them the opportunity to get to know the latest Isuzu has to offer in terms of their commercial vehicles and also get detailed product training.

Isuzu Malaysia Marks The Launch of The Newly Launched Isuzu GIGA Cement Mixer Truck With a Handover Ceremony to Hamzah Ibir Sdn Bhd


Isuzu Malaysia marked the local launch of their new Isuzu GIGA cement mixer truck recently with a small ceremony over on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The commercial vehicle manufacturer delivered two units of the newly launched Isuzu GIGA FXZ360 (Cement Mixer Truck), to Hamzah Ibir Sdn Bhd, a Terengganu-based construction company. The two specialised trucks were procured from Isuzu Malaysia authorised dealers Dynamic Motors Sdn Bhd, located in Kuantan, Pahang.

Commercial Vehicles/Trucks: Isuzu Tops 2017 Commercial Vehicle Sales In Malaysia


Isuzu Malaysia had announced that they have managed to maintain their market position as the number one selling commercial vehicle brand here in Malaysia. Isuzu have held the spot for four consecutive years now and this time around, they have managed to capture 13% of the market share in the pick-up truck segment and they have also recorded a 20% increase in sales of their after-sales parts. This shows a new trend for customers to keep servicing at authorised dealership rather than going elsewhere.

Trucks: Isuzu Hands Over Its 100th Unit To Mighty Bakery Sdn Bhd


Isuzu Malaysia recently handed over its 100th truck to Mighty Bakery Sdn Bhd. The momentous occasion basically wrapped up another good year for the truck manufacturer here in Malaysia. The 100th Isuzu truck purchased by Mighty Bakery is the Isuzu N-Series 4-wheeler truck (NKR55UEEH-E) and it was part of the 16 units of the model registered by Mighty Bakery in 2017.

Truck News: ISUZU MALAYSIA Delivers 115 Units of Isuzu ELF Trucks to City-Link Express


This is quite a deal for Isuzu Malaysia. The Japanese vehicle manufacturer recently delivered 115 units of various Isuzu trucks to City-Link Express (M) Sdn Bhd as part of their 2017 fleet agreement purchase. This saw 105 units of the Isuzu ELF 4-wheeler (NLR77UEE) model and 10 units of the Isuzu ELF 6-wheeler (NQR75UKN) model. This new trucks now join the City-Link fleet of which now has 322 units of Isuzu trucks.

2007 was an important milestone for the Isuzu brand here in Malaysia. Industry News: ISUZU MALAYSIA gets a new CEO

Isuzu Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (IMSB) recently appointed Koji Nakamura (above) as its new Chief Executive Officer. He replaces the outgoing CEO, Kenji Matsuoka who has held the position of CEO in IMSB since 2015. Nakamura has more than 25 years of experience with Isuzu. This includes holding various leading management role in Isuzu Asia Pacific. He has extensive knowledge and understanding in managing various different markets, especially in running large automotive markets such as India and Thailand.

Isuzu Malaysia had recently contributed a single Isuzu ELF NPR 6-wheeler truck to the DRB-HICOM University, an institute of higher learning which is focued on automotive technology. Mikio Tsukui, Chief Operating Officer of Isuzu Malaysia, presented the medium duty truck to Prof. Dr. Abd Rahni bin Mat Piah, Dean of the Post Graduate Faculty, DRB-HICOM University.

Truck News: Isuzu Malaysia delivers 12 units of Isuzu ELF NPR 6-Wheeler Crew Cab Light Duty Trucks to Tenaga Nasional Berhad


Recently, Isuzu Malaysia handed over 12 units of Isuzu ELF trucks to the country's electricity provider, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in Pekan, Pahang.  This handover ceremony was the latest round of deliveries from a RM31 million deal for a total of 200 Isuzu trucks to TNB. The remaining units expected to be supplied to TNB by end 2017. The 2-year fleet deal consist of the Isuzu ELF NPR 6-Wheeler Crew Cab, which have been customised to suit TNB’s requirements.

Truck News: Six New Units of Isuzu Forward medium duty trucks to YHL Trading (KL) Sdn Bhd


Isuzu Malaysia, through their dealer Indah Utara Auto Sdn Bhd recently handed over 6 new units of the Isuzu Forward medium duty truck (FVR285) to YHL Trading (KL) Sdn Bhd. YHL Trading is a subsidiary of the Sin Hock Soon Group, which mainly focuses on rice manufacturing and packaging. If you do grocery shopping, you may have seen their rice brand 'Sunflower' at the local supermarket.

The Facelifted Isuzu Mu-X has been launched - Prices start from RM176,640.40

Isuzu has brought in the facelifted Mu-X to Malaysia. The newly upgraded seven seater SUV was unveiled earlier today at the Isuzu sponsored inaugural History Convention 2017 (the folks at the History Channel) at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS) in Serdang.

Truck News: ISUZU Malaysia together with Sri Hoong Huat Auto Trading donate a complete Isuzu N-Series 5,000kg Truck to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society

Isuzu Malaysia had recently handed over an Isuzu N-Series 5,000kg truck to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) or the Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah for their use especially in the state of Pahang. The truck was presentedto the MRCS in a small ceremony where the CEO of Isuzu Malaysia Kenji Matsuoka who presented the mock key to Dato’ Hj Ismail Bin Hj Mat Noor, MRCS Chairman Pahang.

Isuzu Malaysia has officially opened its a new flagship after-sales facility in Shah Alam, Selangor.  The new center, which also houses the Isuzu Technical Center, was officially opened by the Chairman of Isuzu Motors Limited Susumu Hosoi (who flew in especially for the event) and Group Managing Director of DRB-Hicom Dato’ Sri Syed Faisal Albar Syed Ali Rethza Albar.

Heads up people.  DRB-HICOM’s Autofest returns for the sixth time this weekend - 14th to the 15th of January 2017 at EON Complex in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. It looks like the entry of the Isuzu Mu-X lifestyle SUV in the 2016 Borneo Safari International Offroad Challenge was a successful one as it won the 'Vehicle of the Year' award there. This year's Borneo Safari was deemed to be the toughest in 12 years with daily rainfall causing delays.

ISUZU D-MAX Pickup now face lifted and refreshed & the special edition ISUZU MU-X Type S unveiled

Isuzu launched a facelifted Isuzu D-MAX pickup truck yesterday evening. The Japanese company who specialises in pickup trucks, SUVs and commercial vehicles (they do this also) have made some exterior and interior changes to keep their pickup and SUV refreshed for the Malaysian market. This is about time as the D-MAX in its previous form was first launched in 2013. Three years is quite a long time in the ever evolving car industry.
