I attended the BMW Premium Selection (BPS) autofair/roadshow earlier today. The three-day fair showcases up to 500 pre-owned vehicles from the BMW Premium Selection portfolio as well as New Vehicles, including Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) models, with attractive rebates, instant financing pre=approvals and more. The Showcase by BMW Group Malaysia returns to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium this March 1st to 3rd. This weekend. Head over there if you have the time and want to view a wide selection of BMW vehicles including models from the BMW 2 Series, BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series, BMW 7 Series and the BMW X range. There will also be a selection of pre-owned MINI and BMW Motorrad vehicles will also be available at the fair.

On the 3rd of March 202,BMW Motorrad Malaysia today introduced the New BMW R nineT 100 Years. Limited to only 1,923 units worldwide, the motorcycle is a tribute to the founding year of BMW Motorrad and only ten units have been made available to the Malaysian market. This exclusive roadster is priced at RM 129,500.00 on the road excluding insurance. This is one unique looking scooter!  BMW Motorrad Malaysia today announced the arrival of the New  BMW CE 04 electric scooter. This is the first fully electric scooter in its local Urban Mobility portfolio and this is how the brand wants to showcase their electrification ambitions for not only the passenger car segment but the two-wheel landscape in Malaysia. This unique, boxy electric scooter was previewed at BMW Group Malaysia's preview of the facelifted BMW 3 Series and their 2022 performance report. No solid pricing as yet, but they are expecting somewhere in the RM60K region.

Sime Darby Motors Officially Launches its All-in-One Automotive Complex - the Sime Darby Motors City - Launch Promotion Details Inside

Today, the 12th of April 2021, I was invited to witness  the official launch of Sime Darby Motors' automotive facility, Sime Darby Motors City. While operating for quite a while already in the township of Ara Damansara in Petaling Jaya, it was only officially launched today due to the many pandemic lockdown issues the country is facing. So after an actual postponement of an earlier scheduled official opening, Sime Darby officially launched the automotive complex today. The complex houses six flagship centres featuring many brands represented by Sime Darby Motors in Malaysia, namely BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, MINI, Motorrad, Porsche and Volvo. The automotive centre aims to be an exemplary hub for everything automotive for automotive sales industry.

The 2021 BMW S 1000 RR Superbike Has Been Launched

Last week, BMW Motorrad Malaysia introduced the New BMW S 1000 RR (pictured above, right beside the BMW GS). Unveiled alongside the New BMW R 18 Classic (which will be featured in another article), the latest variant of the iconic BMW Superbike – the New BMW S 1000 RR  now comes equipped with the Riding Mode Pro and Dynamic Damping Control functions as standard, providing a much more thrilling experience on the racetrack. Basically this latest variant comes with optional equipment made standard, most notably the BMW M Package and the above mentioned adjustable suspension extras.

Hello folks! Been a tad bit busy now that the Movement Control Order has entered another more relaxed phase. We can all go about and do nearly whatever we want with the exception of hairdressers and masseurs. The government of Malaysia has also stated that many of the locally assembled and imported cars have lower SST (sales, service tax) from 100% to 50% less and cars are now slightly more affordable. One of the many motorcycle launches that coincided with the MotoGP Malaysia was the unveiling of the New BMW S 1000 RR, BMW R 1250 R and BMW R 1250 RS by BMW Motorrad Malaysia. The new BMW S 1000 RR is the company's 3rd generation S 1000 series of superbike. The R 1250 R  roadster or naked styled bike and the more sleek looking R 1250 RS are street bikes which cater to the more relaxed rider but who still likes the taste of refined motorcycling.

BMW Group Malaysia Sold 12,680 Units of BMW vehicles, MINI and BMW Motorrad In 2017 - Another Super Successful Year For the Premium Brand

BMW Group Malaysia has announced that the premium automotive manufacturer sold 12,680 units of BMW, MINI and BMW motorrad (motorcycle) vehicles in 2017. This was a jump of 16% compared to 2016 where the group sold 10,906 units in total. From 12,680 units of 2017, BMW cars  were the largest earners for the group with  10,618 units, followed by 1,010 MINI vehicles and this was followed by 1,052 units of its BMW motorcycles. 2017 was a good year for BMW here in Malaysia.
