Upcoming Events: MYPerodua Nation Carnival Will Be In Sungai Petani This 13th & 14th January - Lots of Offers, Activities and Things To Do This Weekend

The MYPerodua Nation sales carnival is back! This follows last year's extremely successful event which was held in Shah Alam. Limited Edition Renault Sport Clio R.S. 18 Unveiled - On Sale in Europe Very Soon!

I do get excited these days when a Renault Sport hatchback is announced. Take this limited edition Renault Clio R.S. 18 . It may not be totally new, but it does stir some emotion in me. This latest outing of the Clio R.S is based on the top of the range Clio, the R.S. 220 EDC Trophy. It celebrates Renault Sport's participation in Formula One, and was introduced in conjunction with Renault's 40th anniversary of Formula One in 2017. It will however, only be launched over in Europe this year (2018)! I Wonder if there is a chance for a handful of units to hit our shores.

Lexus Malaysia have announced that they are now accepting orders for the latest, and possibly greatest, Lexus LS series. This is Lexus' fifth generation LS series sedan and it looks like a step forward in the right direction in terms of styling and design.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Announces Record Sales, Service and Vehicle Financing Figures for 2017 - Another Fabulous Year For Them With 12,045 Cars Sold!

Goodness! Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has actually done it again in terms of their sales performance for 2017. The premium automaker actually sold 12,045 vehicles last year which translates to a total market share of 2.3%. In aftersales the company also serviced 128,072 vehicles and also tops out in the customer satisfaction index for aftersales. In the financial services sector, Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia actually finances 4 out of ever 10 Mercedes-Benz vehicles with a total portfolio of RM2.2Billion. Massive numbers considering what some people are saying about how tough 2017 was.

Analysis: Proton Sold 70,991 Cars in 2017 - More Improvements To Come In 2018

It seems that PROTON has managed to somewhat stem the tide in terms of overall falling sales over the past two years or so. The Malaysian car manufacturing company recorded an overall sale of 70,991 units for 2017. Whilst this was a slight drop from the previous year - 72,291 units in 2016, the actual facts behind the figures show a positive outcome for Proton rather a totally negative one.

Trucks & Happenings: Volvo Trucks Malaysia Launches Road Safety Programme For Cyclists - 'See and Be Seen'

Volvo Trucks recently launched a global programme – See and Be Seen – aimed at creating road safety awareness for cyclists. The launch took place in Hin Hua High School, Klang where the event was held as part of the school's 70th anniversary celebrations. The Malaysian leg of the programme was launched during a scouting skills competition & campfire event where 800 scouts from all over Malaysia took part.

Ford's official distributor in Malaysia has announced limited edition colour variants of the 3.2liter Ford Ranger Wildtrak and the 2.2liter Ranger FX4. These new limited edition colour variants usher in the new year for Ford and Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC). The Wildtrak gets Meteor Grey, which is a dark, dark grey, and the FX4 gets a while called Cool White, which you can see in the photo above.

I Spotted this immaculate W108 Mercedes-Benz S-Class yesterday while at the bank. This is most likely the later, late 1960s 280S model which somehow was more than the earlier 250S or 300S variants here in Malaysia. It is great to see classic cars like this still in use and in fantastic condition.

Hyundai KONA Receives 5 Stars For The Euro NCAP

Hyundai Motor’s All-New KONA has received the maximum five-star safety rating from the independent vehicle assessment organisation Euro NCAP. This is for the Euro spec 1.0liter T-GDi petrol and the 1.6 CRDi turbo diesel variants. There are two SUVs from Jaguar Land Rover that I am eagerly awaiting their arrival to our Malaysian shores. They are the recently previewed Land Rover Discovery (at the recent Malaysia Autoshow 2017) and the recently launched Range Rover Velar, which would be launched early in the second quarter of 2018. Volkswagen Seremban Officially Opens For Business - The First Authorised Volkswagen 3S Centre in Negeri Sembilan

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) and HICOM Auto today launched the Volkswagen Seremban 3S Centre. Currently this is the only authorized Volkswagen centre in Negeri Sembilan and it is the second Volkswagen 3S Centre by HICOM Auto after Volkswagen Semenyih.
