Perodua has decided to offer its assistance to Perodua vehicle owners who have unfortunately experience the severe floods in Penang and the surrounding area. The Malaysian car manufacturer will be offering assistance in the forms of discounts on selected parts and free vehicle inspections to determine the damage suffered by the vehicles. This is very in line with their 'People First' part of their motto.
The parts discount are 20% selected parts which include all electronic items, carpet, vehicle seats, door trims and engine overhaul gasket.
Those who are affected can head to the nearest Perodua centre (which hasn't been affected by the flooding) or to those that have already begun operating again after being hit by the floods themselves (yes, there is some irony here). Perodua outlets in Juru, Prai and Kulim which are not affected can handle all queries and repairs on the get go.

Perodua offers assistance for Penang flood victims
Kuala Lumpur, 7 Nov: Perodua is offering assistance to all Perodua vehicle owners
who were impacted by the flood in Penang.
Perodua will be providing assistance in the form of discounts on selected parts and
free inspections to determine the amount of damage done to the vehicle.
“Our customers matter most to us and these value added services are provided to
help relieve some of the burden our customers have to deal with during this
disaster,” Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Dato’ Dr. Zahari Husin said.
“While a few of our service centres in Penang are affected by the flood; our
customers are welcomed to refer to our service outlets in Juru, Prai and Kulim for
assistance.”
“That being said, we are doing our best to resume our operations (at the affected
areas) as quickly as possible,” Dato’ Dr. Zahari said.
In addition, Perodua is also offering 20% off selected parts to Perodua owners
whose vehicles are damaged by the floods.
“We assure the public that our genuine parts come with a manufacturers’ guarantee
and ask our customers to not use any imitation parts as this may impact the vehicle’s
performance,” Dato’ Dr. Zahari said.
