The Putra Brand Awards is considered at the premier brand awards event in Malaysia. It is organized by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) and endorsed by MATRADE with the support of the Branding Association of Malaysia, the Malaysian Advertisers Association and the Media Specialists Association. Lets show all the automotive industry winners who were chosen by Malaysian consumers themselves.
The awards utilise a robust consumer research methodology in order to choose the winners. This time, 6000 Malaysian consumers had determined Malaysia’s favourite brands within multiple categories, with each category being awarded a Gold, Silver and/or Bronze for the most preferred brands (not necessarily one winner per category). So this is an award that actually is quite a big deal as it is the consumers who choose themselves as we stated above.

So you now know which brands 6,000 Malaysian consumers who supposedly represent us general public on what brands that we think are the strongest and the best (in some ways) in Malaysia in 2017. I like the fact that both national car brands - Perodua and Proton are in the list as well as home grown PETRONAS and GRABCar as well as AirAsia, MAS and other local brands stated above. Amazingly a lot of homegrown brands are actually held in high regards by consumers.
So to these local brands, KEEP IT UP!
