ASEAN NCAP has awarded the top specced 1.3 & 1.5liter all-new Perodua Myvi 5 star ratings. This is in like with the cars being offered with Active Safety Assist Systems. The most affordable car in Malaysia to do so.
I type this as I await the launch of the car. Perodua has the first gen Myvi on display here. The five star rating in the ASEAN NCAP is now given only to cars with active safety systems. So this new Myvi is good value for money in terms of technology inside it.

Kajang, 16 November 2017 – The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) recently tested the soon to be launched Perodua Myvi. This is the third time we assessed the model and ASEAN NCAP is proud to announce that the All-New Perodua Myvi has achieved 5-Star rating under our new protocol for 2017-2020. Details of the result will be available after 7:00 PM today.
