Malaysian Leg of Jaguar’s 'The Art Of Performance Tour' Will Be At Setia City Convention Centre From 16 to 18 March 2018 - Register If You're Interested!

Jaguar’s The Art of Performance Tour will be in Malaysia on the 16th to the 18th of March 2018. The driving experience showcase will be held at the Setia City Convention Centre. If you are interested, you can register and then look forward to getting behind the wheel of the Jaguar XE, XF and F-PACE on a unique driving circuit, an on-road drive as well as Jaguar’s innovative Smart Cones course.

The Art of Performance Tour Malaysia is part of Jaguar's driving experience tour across the Asia Pacific region. The concept was first introduced over in Europe in 2016 and it is a multi-city tour which will provide a unique driving experience as well as the opportunity to get up close and personal with the new, modern lineup of Jaguar vehicles. What better way to showcase a car like a Jaguar which is quite known for its performance.

Now, it order to participate in the Art of Performance Tour Malaysia, you readers out there must head over to and register at art-of- performance-tour.

If you are an existing Jaguar-Land Rover customers you are most welcome to the event. But do register for the limited slots allocated over the few days.

So in terms of the drive experience, it will be unpredictable with a million different potential courses. This is according to the folks at Jaguar Land Rover. There will be Smart Cones laid out on the temporary test track at the Setia City Convention Centre grounds and these are designed to measure the drivers’ skill and exploit the cars’ precise and agile handling. The Smart Cone circuit is inspired by the agility training game known as ‘Batak’ (No, not the Indonesian indigenous tribe), the system uses wireless technology to produce both a predetermined and a random course of intelligent illuminating cones, notifying drivers of their next target with only a moment’s notice. As the car is driven, its precise co-ordinates are measured in relation to the cones and sent to a central computer system 100 times per second to track its performance. Every driver gets a score report that takes into account the model of the car used and driving conditions. It could be quite interesting and it should give participants an inkling of how Jaguars drive and handle.

Aside from the drive experience, participants will also be among the first in Malaysia to preview and test drive the Jaguar F-PACE 2.0L model. This is the latest F-Pace (above) with a price, tax and fuel friendly 2.0liter engine. It is scheduled to be launched in Malaysia this April. The F-PACE’s new 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium powertrain features a single twin-scroll turbo that produces 250PS and 365Nm of torque from
only 1,200rpm.

The F-PACE is no slouch in terms of awards. The 2017 Jaguar F-PACE has been named the winner of the 2017 World Car of the Year and won the World Car Design of the Year Award at the New York International Auto Show. Here in Malaysia, the F-PACE actually won the SUV and Crossover category (RM500,001 – RM700,000) at the 2017 Malaysian Car of The Year Awards, which was organised under the auspices of the Malaysian Automotive Institute (MAI).

So if you are free this coming weekend, you could be driving some Jaguars. So do register to have a chance to experience them.
