Shell Malaysia has officially launched its Shell Malaysia Official Online Store on 11street. Those of you who are unaware, 11street is one of those online marketplace that offers a variety of products at competitive prices. This is Shell Malaysia's second online outlet as the company strives to push into the online shopping experience even more. Instead of just offering the engine oil like other engine oil brands. Shell is slightly different. Anyone located in Peninsular Malaysia, and soon in Sabah and Sarawak, you can now purchase e-vouchers for genuine Shell Helix oil change service packages online. Once you have done so, you can call ahead to schedule an appointment and redeem them via the 11street mobile application at their preferred workshops.
The workshops are from a list of more than 45 participating Shell Helix-branded workshops which should be close enough to where you are located for your convinience. Just purchase the e-vouchers and you just drive your car to a workshop of your choice rather than carry a large container of engine oil with you.
In conjunction with the launch of this new service, Shell Helix and 11street has announced the Spend & Win! contest. From April 16 till 29, 2018, those who purchase an oil change service package using either Shell Helix Ultra with PurePlus Technology, High Mileage or HX7 motor oil on 11street stand a chance to win RM500 in shopping credit.
Those who purchase theShell Helix oil change service packages on 11street are also eligible to register for the Shell Advantage and Rewards (SHARE) loyalty programme. All it requires is a simple online registration at www.shell.com.my/share and with that, it will allow you to collect rewards with SHARE. One of the rewards include a buy-3-free-1 offer for purchases of Shell Helix Ultra, oil change reminders and other seasonal or festive promotions.
According to Shell Lubricants Marketing General Manager, May Tan, the collaboration with 11street would enable the company to tap into the growing online shopping trend and also deliver genuine Shell Helix products and value-for-money services to a wider market across the country.
11street sees its collaboration with Shell Malaysia as a change to how people access car maintenance services. 11street offers Malaysian shoppers convenience and ease in purchasing genuine Shell Helix oil change services at Shell Helix branded workshops from one's smartphone or computer. It will enable consumers to spend less time waiting to service their cars, and allow them to schedule appointments with ease at their own convenience.
An added note: Those with cars below eight years old and 150,000km on the odometer also qualify for the free Shell Helix Engine Warranty (SHEW) when they service their cars with Shell Helix Ultra, High Mileage or HX7.
