Caltex's “Wave and Win” contest, held in conjunction with its partnership with Visa has found a winner. Mr. Gary Yeap Zak Wang of Penang, who used his Visa payWave for a transaction at a Caltex station managed to win a brand new Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Line. All he did was use the convenient contactless Visa payWave payment system which is available at all Caltex stations nationwide.
The ‘Wave and Win’ campaign that Visa conducted with Chevron, who operate using the Caltex brand here in Malaysia, was initiated to promote contactless payments which then rewards motorists when they use Visa payWave to pay for their fuel. The Visa payWave is a seamless and convenient payments for Visa cardholders in Malaysia. According to Visa, this will help us accelerate the growth of electronic payments in Malaysia, which is in line with Bank Negara Malaysia’s target for cashless payments here.

We are committed to optimising each and every motorist’s journey at our service stations nationwide by delivering value-added services on top of quality products. As the first fuel provider in the country to introduce Visa payWave at our service stations, we believe this service will make motorists’ journeys more enjoyable by saving them more time,”
The “Wave & Win” contest caught the eye of their grand prize winner.

During the “Wave and Win” promotion period, 32 lucky Visa cardholders who purchased any Caltex fuel or Mart convenience store items using Visa payWave walked away with monthly StarCash prizes worth RM5,000 each.
