Aside from launching the latest variant of the Volkswagen Beetle 1.2TSI for the Malaysian market, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) had launched two new variants of their Vento sedan. The Vento ALLSTAR and the Vento GT. These are limited run variants of the Vento 1.2TSI Highline and the Vento 1.6 Comfortline respectively that come with additional goodies at attractive prices.
First off is the Vento ALLSTAR. The Vento ALLSTAR is the second ALLSTAR edition introduced by VPCM, with the first being the Polo ALLSTAR. Priced from RM78,888 it is available in Reflex Silver and Candy White. The Vento ALLSTAR is a Vento 1.6 which comes with RM7,000 worth of exclusive accessories such as leather seats, aluminium sports pedals, rear spoiler, black door strips and trunk garnish, ‘ALLSTAR’ scuff plates, emblems and carpet mats.
It basically makes the 1.6 Comfortline that is sold here into a Highline variant but it gets some extra trim or garnishing making it a little more special. Note the black stripes at the sides remind you of a certain 'AllStar' model of sneakers from Converse. A lean towards something sportier I suppose.
I also have to say that the Vento 1.6 sedans offers a good package in terms of reliability and maintenance. No turbocharging and not dual clutch gearbox means this is a simple car to maintain in the long run. It comes highly recommended by us actually.
As for the Vento GT, it is priced from RM89,888 and comes with a total of RM9,000 worth of exclusive accessories such as a “Satin” black roof and exterior mirror wraps, black door strips, leather seats, aluminium sports pedals, GT Aerokit, ‘GT’ scuff plates, emblems and carpet mats. Two colour options are available - Reflex Silver and Candy White. This folks, is what you can call a Vento 1.2 TSI Highline variant with a bodykit and some extra trim.
So with this you can get a bodykitted Vento. What car modding enthusiasts could benefit actually as the car comes standard already with the bodykit. More flash for the same amount of cash actually. Or slightly lesser for both variants actually. These are good value Volkswagen. You really get more equipment and parts for the price. And that's not just it. VPCM also announced an Additional Raya Promo for the Vento as well as the Passat line-up.
There is a 5-year free maintenance package for the entire Vento and Passat family. This offer is valid till the 31st of July 2017. Additionally, those who book any Volkswagen cars from now till 30th June will receive petrol vouchers worth RM500.

The New Beetle
Leading the pack is the latest edition of Volkswagen iconic Beetle. The
new Beetle is priced from RM136,888 and is available in a variety of
colours that will delight owners – Pure White, Tornado Red, Blue Silk,
Dark Bronze, Habanero Orange and White Silver. Updates in the new
Beetle include a 2-zone Climatronic air-conditioning system, composition
media with touch screen display with App-Connect, leather trim “Vienna”
seats with front seat lumbar support, bi-xenon headlamps and LED
daytime running lights.
A 1.2l turbocharged TSI engine with an output of 105PS - with the 7-
speed automatic transmission DSG with a maximum torque of 175Nm
under the hood ensures an exhilarating ride with every drive.

Vento ALLSTAR
The Vento ALLSTAR is the second ALLSTAR edition introduced by

recently. Priced from RM78,888 it is available in Reflex Silver and Candy

A 1.6L MPI engine, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission
gearbox and Tiptronic function, provides the Vento ALLSTAR with an
output of 105PS, maximum torque of 153Nm and fuel consumption of

VW Drive App, which provides added convenience at the driver’s
fingertips. With numerous functions that include driving style and fuel

The Vento GT is powered with the award-winning 1.2l turbocharged
direct injection TSI engine with an output of 105PS. Paired with the 7-
speed automatic transmission DSG with a maximum torque of 175Nm,
the Vento is the sedan with the highest torque in its class. With superior
drivability and performance, fuel consumption is remarkable at 5.5l per
100km*. The Vento 1.2l was awarded the Compact Car of the Year at
