Volkswagen Ups the Production of the Tiguan in Malaysia due to demand...and adds a brand new colour to the line-up.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has begun scaling up production of the recently-launched, all-new Volkswagen Tiguan, in an effort to meet the demands of Malaysian consumers. Launched in April 2017, bookings of the new SUV have been strong and there is now a waiting list for the vehicle.

Of course, the people at VPCM have caught wind of some of the noises that customers are making where I have personally heard that delivery time for most of the customers who have booked the vehicle over the past few weeks will only get it sometime after the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri. I suppose VPCM was caught out by the high demand. 

Whatever the case, VPCM are now in the midst of gearing up the production of the Tiguan at the Volkswagen assembly plant in Pekan, Pahang to cater for the demand. I suppose customers have to be patient as the company isn't sitting still and doing nothing.

Anyway, to give added value to Malaysian consumers, VPCM has introduced a brand new colour for the Tiguan, Crimson Red – now available for booking. Two variants of the Tiguan are available - the Comfortline which retails at RM148,990, and the Highline, priced at RM168,990.

Tiguan to Meet Customer Demand

Kuala Lumpur, 16 May - Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia

(VPCM) has ramped up production of the recently-launched, all-new

Volkswagen Tiguan, in an effort to meet the demands of Malaysian

consumers.



Launched in April 2017, two variants of the Tiguan are available, the

Comfortline which retails at RM148,990, and the Highline, priced at

RM168,990.
