Maxx ‘N Go by MaxxOil Malaysia appoints Datuk Lee Chong Wei as Brand Ambassador, collaborates with Grab Malaysia and the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Car Dealers & Credit Companies Association (FMC)

Recently, MaxxOil Malaysia had introduced a car service smartphone application (app) called Maxx 'N Go. Today, they have officially launched it in Kuala Lumpur and has signed up Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei as its brand ambassador as well as Grab Malaysia  and Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Car Dealers & Credit Companies Association (FMC).

Maxx ‘N Go was designed and was first made available in December 2016 and to date, approximately 15,000 smartphone users have downloaded the app. Maxx ‘N Go had said that it is the first mobile app in Malaysia that allows car owners to do an instant appointment for door-to- door on site oil (and oil filter) change services for a fixed fee. So there is no real need to send your car to a workshop for an oil change. The oil change people comes to you. The service is available from 9.30am to 530pm daily including public holidays.

It's partnership with Grab Malaysia basically means that Grab’s driver-partners can get an exclusive discount by using the app. This collaboration would allow Grab partners (i.e, those fellas that you now use to taxi you around town) to address their car maintenance issues more conveniently, leaving them with more time to help outserve our customers and transport them.

As for Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Car Dealers & Credit Companies Association (FMC). FMC’s car dealers are entitled to get a special rate in a commission scheme through the app. FMC’s car dealers can save manpower and man hours to send the cars for oil changes..

The Maxx ‘N Go currently covers Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Klang Valley for the time being with about 15 Maxx 'N Go service vans regularly on call during the hours mentioned above. The services will be offered in Ipoh, Penang, Johor, and Kelantan within a couple of months. Other states including Sabah and Sarawak are in the pipeline. The app is available for download in the Google Play Store for Android devices and App Store for iOS devices. The services are on your way seven days a week with just a few ticks on your devices.

A lot of convenience for people these days. I also have to add that this novel idea actually allows a new company to push its products in a different way, direct to the consumer rather than going around pushing their products to workshops and service centres. Whilst they do this too, it is with this value added service that the MaxxOil name could become on par with the more well known brands here in Malaysia.  unique selling point indeed.
