In case you are interested in the very funky Toyota compact SUV called the C-HR, you can go take a look at it today (sunday) at the Setia City Convention Centre. The car is on display at the Carlist.my MAA Test, Drive & Buy Event this weekend (May 13 and 14) in Setia Convention Centre, Setia Alam, Selangor from 10 am to 10 pm.
A truly funky looking Toyota, the C-HR. No one will mistake you for an uncle or auntie when you drive one of these! Toyota is putting style into their usual recipe these days. Better for us consumers, yes? Anyway, let's hope the compact SUV will be launched soon and give the Honda HRV some proper competition!
Aside from that, visitors to the Toyota booth at the autoshow have an opportunity to personally experience Toyota’s range in Malaysia through the test-drive session. Upon completion of each test-drive, visitors can obtain a free Starbucks card worth RM20. In addition, at the 4x4 outdoor display area the visitors can view and experience the 4x4 capabilities of the Hilux and Fortuner models. On top of that, there will also be a Toyota Hilux TRD Sportivo 2.4G on display.
Toyota is also offering attractive cash rebates (up to RM5,000), free accessories and 3 years free service for selected models in the Toyota range available in Malaysia. Those who book a new vehicle at the event will enjoy an additional e-service voucher worth RM200 which can be used when they send their new Toyota for servicing at an authorised Toyota service centre.
TOYOTA GIVES SNEAK PREVIEW OF C-HR AT SETIA CITY CONVENTION CENTRE
Shah Alam, 13 May 2017 - UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd is displaying the exciting new
Toyota C-HR compact SUV at the Carlist.my MAA Test, Drive & Buy Event this weekend
(May 13 and 14) in Setia Convention Centre, Setia Alam, Selangor from 10 am to 10 pm.
This is the first appearance of the Toyota C-HR in Malaysia and it provides the public with a
preview of the model that was first launched to the world in 2016.
The C-HR is the second vehicle that has been developed with the TNGA platform. TNGA,
which refers to Toyota New Global Architecture, is part of Toyota's company-wide program
to structurally transform automobile design in line with the company's goal of making ever-
better cars. The design of the C-HR features a diamond architectural theme, and the
modulated structure of the cabin gives it an exciting feel.
Besides the C-HR, visitors to the event were also able to get a closer look at the specially
prepared Toyota Vios which will be used in the inaugural Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR)
Racing Festival this August. Few celebrities involved in TGR such as Shukri Yahaya, Venice
Min and Shawn Lee were also on site for a meet and greet session with the public.

All new Toyota vehicles except for the Hilux and Hiace come with 5-year warranty from the
date of first registration with unlimited mileage. The warranty, which is fully backed by Toyota
Motor Corporation and UMW Toyota Motor, can be transferred to the next owner of the
vehicle if it is still in effect at the time of being sold.
