TYREPLUS, the one-stop car care franchise founded by Michelin, have recently launched a new campaign in conjunction with this year's Chinese New Year festivities. For the upcoming festive period, TYREPLUS would like that motorists drop by and take a look at their products, especially their Michelin tyres and get your car looked at by their trained personnel before you take that holiday road trip. They will be giving away for free limited-edition Bibendum collectibles, while stocks last, to customers who purchase a minimum of two Michelin tyres.
The collectibles are figurines of the ‘Michelin Man’, aka Bibendum or 'Bib'. This is the tubby white mascot (which has actually slimmed down over the years) has been face of the Michelin brand since 1898. An icon. The collector’s series comprises four distinctive “Bibendum” figures worth RM59.90 each. The first one will be released at TYREPLUS Malaysia outlets beginning 15 January 2018. The rest will follow every quarter throughout the year. It would make quite an addition to anyone with an automotive themed collection.
Aside from promoting the Bib figurines, the TYREPLUS campaign aims to promote Michelin tyres to TYREPLUS customers during this round of festivities. The Michelin brand of tyres are well known for their quality and performance. TYREPLUS have been selling such high quality tyres in Malaysia since 1998.
Michelin Malaysia’s Managing Director, Mr. Pascal Nouvellon said that, “Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers, and there is nothing more important to them than the safety of their families. That’s why TYREPLUS takes the utmost care in providing the highest quality products recommended by experts. I hope Malaysians will visit TYREPLUS and check out the wide range of Michelin tyres available in anticipation of the Chinese New Year celebration. Not only will they get the chance to bring home unique Bibendum memorabilia but also prep for the long-awaited exodus home to ensure that they get to their destination safely.”
Since its introduction here in Malaysia, TYREPLUS has grown to be the largest independent car maintenance network in Malaysia with over 50 outlets and growing. The outlets provide many services ranging from tyre replacement, tyre repairs, wheel balancing, wheel alignment and regular car maintenance. Established brands including MICHELIN, BFGoodrich, Bosch, Mobil 1, Total and Tech are carried by TYREPLUS and they always stress in their presentations, press releases and events that quality and customer satisfaction is important to them.
So anyway, yes... Bibendum collectibles. Get that chubby boy on your office desk, folks!
