Happenings: Lexus Malaysia Previews The Upcoming 2018 Lexus RX 350L and the 2018 Lexus NX 300 to Special Guests

Recently, Lexus Malaysia previewed the new Lexus RX 350L and the new Lexus NX 300 to a select few people (selected members of the media, customers and other guests - no idea if there were any gatecrashers) at a nice locations somewhere in Petaling Jaya. The vehicles, which are down for a an official launch in February were the stars of the night.

The Lexus RX 350L, first launched globally in RX 350 form in 2015, is a combination of functionality, technology, comfort, and luxury. It will come with a third row of seats which will allow up to seven passengers sit inside it. With the extra row of seats, Lexus calls it the RX350L and this is actually quite a new addition to the Lexus RX lineup as prior to its launch in November 2017 you could only get the RX 350 with 5 seats. This is quite a good option as more seats would mean more versatility and flexibility. Something which was actually not the focus of premium SUVs marketed here usually.

The smaller Lexus NX 300 is actually a facelift of the NX series. It gets a new front end as well as a new dashboard inside. The NX is a compact crossover which is sportier than the larger RX series and is marketed as an SUV/Crossover with a blend of sports meets luxury that promises to create a feeling of pure exhilaration without compromising on comfort.

Guests of Lexus were treated to a delectable 8-course canape led by Chef Sherson Lian. As a host chef on the Asian Food Channel, he has received international recognition for his talent and was ever delighted to share the rationale behind every dish and its representation of Lexus. Lian additionally paired his cuisines with complementing cocktail creations, tickling and tantalizing the taste buds of everyone present.

Lexus Malaysia states that the preview event is the start of 2018's activities for the premium marque. As for the RX 350L and the NX 300, Lexus Malaysia is already accepting bookings for the vehicles. Some details are here in my previous newspiece on the vehicles. But do head over to their showrooms if you are interested (There is one in Mutiara Damansara and another in Sungai Besi in the Klang Valley region).
