TRUCK NEWS: Heng Seng Company takes delivery of new Scania Truck for its business in Kelantan



Scania Malaysia recently handed over a Scania G460LA6x2MNA to Heng Seng & Company Sdn Bhd. The new truck, one of two G460s ordered, is meant to take on the MyGaz exclusive distributorship for the state of Kelantan. The keys to the Scania G460 truck with Opticruise gearbox was handed to Edward Tan Hoe Een, Managing Director of Heng Seng by Tuan Haji Idros Puteh, Sales Director of Scania Southeast Asia at Scania (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Kota Bharu Branch. at a small handover ceremony.

Heng Seng is a company with a very long history. It was established in 1941 and it has been delivering LPG gas for many years and is committed to support MYGaz’s 30 percent increase in production targeted for Kelantan. With the purchase of these 2 new Scania trucks, Heng Seng will be able to live-up to its distributorship agreement with MyGaz. 

Both the trucks have the 2 years free Scania Assistance, 2 years free Scania Maintenance and 10 years free Scania Fleet Management system that comes as standard for purchases of new Scania vehicles. The people at Heng Seng also look forward to the activation of the Scania Fleet Management System and they believe that it is essential to have it for monitoring the trucks and drivers’ performances which may result in increased revenue for the company through operational savings. This would be something new for the company to experience - on the spot data and telemetry of how their trucks and driver operates. 

The advantages of these new European trucks have over others can been seen in their systems and also maintenance packages. Something for operators to take into account when making new purchases.

HENG SENG TAKES MYGAZ KELANTAN DISTRIBUTORSHIP
WITH NEW SCANIA TRUCK

Kota Bharu , 18 August – Scania Malaysia handed over the first new Scania truck to

Heng Seng & Company (Heng Seng) to take on the exclusive distributorship of MyGaz for

the State of Kelantan.

Handing over the keys to the Scania G460LA6x2MNA truck with Opticruise gearbox to

Edward Tan Hoe Een, Managing Director of Heng Seng was Tuan Haji Idros Puteh, Sales

Director of Scania Southeast Asia at Scania (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Kota Bharu Branch.

and believes that it’s imperative to have it for monitoring the trucks and drivers’

performances resulting in increased revenue for the company through operational

savings.
