Renault via its Malaysian franchise holder TC Euro Cars (TCEC) have unveiled a limited run edition of the Renault Fluence. This Renault Fluence Formula Edition, as it is called, is offered in conjunction with Renault's return to Formula One this year as a full works team as well as it being a lead-up to the 2016 Malaysian Grand Prix which is just around the corner.
The Fluence Formula Edition features the addition of a five piece bodykit which makes the car look very much sportier than what it usually looks like (a very traditional French family sedan actually). It also features custom blue & red decals, a muffler cutter (another word for a tailpipe) and two toned black alloy wheels for the exterior. The interior gets gloss black trimming and maroon leather seats.
The rest of the Fluence Formula Edition is the same with the usual Fluence. This would mean a 2.0liter petrol engine pumping out 143PS / 195Nm which drives the front wheels through a CVT X-Tronic Automatic transmission. Other standard equipment include the Renault R-link infotainment system with 7 inch touch screen display, USB, Bluetooth, hands free entry, start button, walk-away auto lock, auto climate control, rear air vents, ESP, ISOFIX, 6 SRS Airbags, automatic door locking and more. It also has a very large boot - 530liters and has foldable seats - details important to those who like carrying a lot of stuff or important for people who like exchanging specifications of their cars when they meet other people.
The Fluence Formula Edition is priced at RM126,688688 (OTR inclusive of GST without insurance for Peninsular Malaysia for private reg). There are also two colour options - Black metallic and White Pearl which you see in the photos). It comes with 5 year manufacturer's warranty with unlimited mileage (the warranty is by TCEC and not by an external party). In addition to the warranty (which I think is one of the best you can find) the '5inFluence' offer also includes Free Maintenance for 5 years or up to 100,000km (whichever comes first), 1 year genuine parts warranty, complementary pick up service for scheduled servicing and 48 hour Mobility Solution which provides a courtesy car if a customer's Fluence goes in for longer than usual maintenance work. All of which come with the usual terms & conditions apply.

TC EURO CARS ADDS SPECIAL RENAULT FLUENCE FORMULA EDITION TO LINE-UP
Kuala Lumpur, 19 August 2016 – Sedan car buyers looking to stand out from the crowd now have the option of owning a special Renault Fluence Formula Edition, made available through TC Euro Cars (TCEC), the sole franchise holder of Renault cars in Malaysia.
