Pulsar Dareventure powered by MODENAS has a Winner who takes home RM5,000 Cash and a Brand New Modenas Pulsar NS200


The Pulsar Dareventure powered by MODENAS has officially come to a close and the winner announced . This is the first motorcycle reality show in Malaysia and  it was based on Pulsar Dareventure series previously held in Nepal, Sri Lanka and Peru. The Malaysian edition was was the first in South East Asia. The YouTube based series showcased contestants competing for the grand prize of RM5,000 cash and a brand-new Modenas Pulsar NS200.




The winner of the inaugural Pulsar Dareventure Malaysian edition was Leong Choon Yip from Puchong. He beat out Paavigness Rao A/L Chandarh Roo from Jempol, Negeri Sembilan who took second place and Nik Norparhana Yasmin Nik Wel from Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang who came in third. The two runners-up won cash prizes of RM3,000 and RM1,500 respectively.

The Pulsar Dareventure series followed the selection of riders from many hopefuls, to the weekly eliminations, and finally to the winner announcement. All of which was nicely made into a series featuring 8 episodes and was aired on MODENAS Malaysia's YouTube page. It has been uploaded there since February 2019.

In the series, participants journeyed to places within Peninsula Malaysia. They competed in multiple challenges across different states, riding the Modenas Pulsar NS200 (aka Bajaj Pulsar NS200) from Selangor, Perak, Pahang and Putrajaya. Their journey took them to notable places like the Speedway PLUS Circuit in Subang Jaya, Bukit Pasir in Rawang, the SWAT Paintball in Janda Baik Pahang, Tanjung Tualang Tin Dredge No. 5 and Kellie’s Castle in Batu Gajah, Hoga Gaharu Tea Valley in Gopeng and Putrajaya Challenge Park. 

MODENAS Chief Executive Officer Roslan Roskan said the programme achieved the target of showcasing the capabilities of the motorbike. He hopes the Pulsar Dareventure will go some ways in boosting the bike riding culture in Malaysia, noting that the show revealed that motorcycle enthusiasts in the country were seeking platforms to improve their skills further, and a reality show was one such platform.

Roslan had said,  “We are happy to have concluded the first ever Malaysian edition of the Pulsar Dareventure reality show. The reality show provided a platform to showcase the versatility, durability and power of the Modenas Pulsar NS200 while at the same time reaching out to Malaysian riders and motorbike fans through a unique and exciting reality competition,”

“Modenas Pulsar NS200 is among the best bikes in its class, combining powerful performance symbolizing the spirit of the riders as adventure seekers. We are pleased to have worked with Bajaj Auto to bring something fresh and exciting to Malaysia and Malaysian bikers,” added Roslan.

Anurag Sharma, Country Sales Manager of Bajaj Auto Limited explained how the Pulsar Dareventure came into being. He said, “The Pulsar Dareventure idea emerged unexpectedly during a regular brainstorming session at the Bajaj showroom. It was a daring venture that brought excitement and displayed the bike’s capabilities. For us, the Pulsar Dareventure is more than just biking. It was curated for adventure seekers to hone their riding skills and boost their self-confidence, while enjoying the true spirit of riding,”
