MODENAS Launches New Logo and Brand Identity as well as launching the new Euro 4 Kriss 110 motorcycle

Earlier today Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional (MODENAS), subsidiary of DRB-Hicom Berhad (KLSE:DRBHCOM) has launched its new logo and brand identity as well as launching the first Euro 4 Modenas Kriss 110 motorcycle to the Malaysian market. 

Pos Malaysia takes delivery of 50 MEV-1 electric motorcycles from MODENAS, AVIS & DRB-HICOM Ez Drive

 Pos Malaysia Berhad (“Pos Malaysia” or “the Group”), the national post and parcel service provider recently received 50 electric motorcycles that will be used by their postmen to deliver mail. This is another step (in terms of logistics) on their journey to be net zero in terms of emissions by 2050. They took delivery of the bikes from Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (“MODENAS”), the assembler of MEV-1, and DRB-HICOM EZ-Drive Sdn Bhd (“AVIS”), the leasing provider of the MEV-1 programme.

National motorcycle company, MODENAS has now announced their "Dominasi Impianmu" sales campaign for the Modenas Dominar D400 touring motorcycle. This latest campaign is aimed at helping those that have aspirations and dreams of owning their very own streetbike. The campaingn will offer a RM1,000 rebate for the Dominar D400.

MODENAS Will Be Opening Selected Service Centres During the Extended Movement Control Order Period

MODENAS, the Malaysian motorcycle company will be resuming after sales operations at selected branches throughout Peninsula Malaysia. This follows the recent statement by the Malaysian Government - via the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (“MITI”) that certain business under the automotive industry will be allowed to resume operations even though the country is under the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.

Pulsar Dareventure powered by MODENAS has a Winner who takes home RM5,000 Cash and a Brand New Modenas Pulsar NS200

The Pulsar Dareventure powered by MODENAS has officially come to a close and the winner announced . This is the first motorcycle reality show in Malaysia and  it was based on Pulsar Dareventure series previously held in Nepal, Sri Lanka and Peru. The Malaysian edition was was the first in South East Asia. The YouTube based series showcased contestants competing for the grand prize of RM5,000 cash and a brand-new Modenas Pulsar NS200.

Malaysian motorcycle manufacturer Modenas has produced Malaysia’s first-ever South East Asian edition of the Pulsar Dareventure  internet based reality show. The Pulsar Dareventure motorcycle reality show, was first envisioned by Modenas' manufacturing partners, Bajaj, in 2014. It was first shown in Nepal, Peru, to Sri Lanka and showcased the Bajaj / Modenas Pulsar motorcycle. Here, the Modenas Pulsar NS200 is the bike in question.

This is the fourth motorcycle to be launched under Modenas's tie up with India motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj. Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional (MODENAS), Malaysia's national motorcycle brand will enter the Malaysian street bike segment through collaboration with Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) from India. The collaboration will be initiated in stages including distribution, and technology transfer through the development of a dedicated assembly hub in MODENAS’ plant in Gurun, Kedah. Eventually, MODENAS and BAL are also planning penetration into international markets, using the MODENAS brand in ASEAN and beyond.

National motorcycle manufacturer Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional (MODENAS), part of the DRB-HICOM group had launched the latest Modenas Kriss underbone (moped) motorcycle. The Kriss has been their most popular model over the years and they hope that with the introduction of the new MR2 model to the popular KRISS line-up, it will improve its current market share of the entry level underbone motorcycle segment from 8% to 10% by the end of 2017.

The DRB-HICOM Autofest 2017 will showcase 10 brands under the group’s automotive portfolio, namely PROTON, Lotus, Audi, Volkswagen, Honda, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, TATA and MODENAS. 

Scooter & Industry News: MODENAS Launches 3 scooters - The Modenas Karisma 125, Elegance 250i & KYMCO 250i Downtown

I had nothing better to do last friday afternoon. It was after lunch and I had no appointments as it was friday. No one does appointments on friday after lunch these days (unless your boss is cruel or you are a cruel boss). So anyway, I had an invite from the people at DRB-Hicom to attend the launch of two new scooter models from MODENAS (their motorcycle division basically) - the all-new Karisma 125 and Elegan 250i as well as the launch of the KYMCO 250i Downtown. The Kymco scooter is actually a new model from Modenas' latest principal KYMCO, who make and sell scooters in many parts of the world, and is a market leader in its home-country, Taiwan.
