The Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Dealer of the Year Awards 2018 was held recently at the Renaissance Hotel, Johor Bahru and saw representatives from 35 authorised dealers from nine dealer groups gathering to honour excellence within the Mercedes-Benz network across Malaysia. This year, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia introduced a new category - the Most Improved Dealer as well as giving out six existing awards, i.e., Best Performance in Sales, Best Performance Customer Services, Best Performance in Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Customer Loyalty Index (CLI), Best Performance in Business Excellence, Best Performance in Financial Services, and the one that gives out the biggest bragging rights, The Dealer of the Year 2018.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, President and CEO, Dr Claus Weidner, had mentioned that the accomplishments of the dealers are attributed by Putting their Customers at the Centre of their Activities. Mercedes-Benz believes that automotive excellence goes beyond the vehicle and it must the entire customer journey of which the brand is extremely grateful for their dealer partners who have given Mercedes-Benz customers the best customer service that they could experience

So aside from the usual monetary rewards, a competition like this also instills a sense of accomplishment that isn't just based on the Ringgit, but more of personal achievement to the staff of the dealers that have come up tops.
