Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) Racing Festival at MAEPS was a roaring success

The Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) Racing Festival that happened over the past weekend actually became quite a successful motorsport and motoring festival as some 20,000 spectators came to the venue at the Malaysia Ago Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS) to soak in the action, thrilling races, entertainment and more. So much energy from what was an event surrounding a one make Toyota Vios race challenge!

UMW Toyota Motor Donates A Toyota Camry Hybrid to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

Recently UMW Toyota Motor Sdn. Bhd. (UMWT), the distributors of Toyota here, made a donation of a Toyota Camry Hybrid to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The vehicle will be used for technical research and development study by the researchers and students who are studying under the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). 

PERODUA Has Received Over 13,000 Bookings Of The All-New Myvi To Date - Has Already Delivered 1,000 Units



Perodua have started deliveries of the all-new Perodua Myvi compact hatchback and about 1,000 units have already been delivered to their owners. This is good news as it would seem that deliveries are fast and it needs to be fast considering that Perodua has actually received over 13,000 bookings since the car was open for bookings.

This piece of news is slightly interesting even though Renault Samsung Motors are not sold locally here. The Renault Samsung Motors SM3 Z.E is an electric vehicle which is based on the Renault Fluence sold here. It is exactly like the Fluence sedan and the only difference externally are the badging.

Bosch Survey Reveals That Battery Failure is the Top Cause of Vehicle Breakdown in Malaysia

Recently Bosch Automotive Aftermarket conducted a survey of 350 Malaysian drivers where they found out that vehicle battery failure is the top cause of vehicle breakdowns in the country. Engine and wiring issues came in at 20% and 5% respectively. So it seems that battery failure is the cause of a whole lot of pain and suffering.
