Happenings: Caltex Fuel Your School Annual Programme Successfully Completed For The Year
Caltex has successfully completed its annual Caltex Fuel Your School programme (“Caltex FYS”) for the year. The programme, was run in partnership with MyKasih Foundation. It continues to support the Malaysian government’s efforts in enhancing the learning of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This is the sixth year that the programme has been running and the Caltex FYS has enabled over 20,000 students in Perak schools to benefit from it this time around.

The biennial Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) has started today, the 18th of May, and will carry on till the 20th of May 2017. The Expo is held at the Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) at Mines in Sri KembanganThis exhibition was organised by Asian Trucker Media and it showcases the latest in commercial vehicles to the Malaysian and also South East Asian market. This year, the exhibition's theme is 'Connected Mobility'.

Chevron Malaysia Ltd., which markets the Caltex brand here in Malaysia, has announced the launch of its 'True Power from Within’ promotion in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of the popular blockbuster movie, Transformers for the upcoming release of Transformers: The Last Knight. This is the fifth instalment in a very successful series (this time I am rooting for Megatron. Bored of the good guys after so many sequels). The promotion encompasses all of Caltex's products, from their lubricants, fuel as well as their promotional 'Fun Truck' which will be going around Peninsular Malaysia. Caltex announces winners of its recent RON97 Promotion
These days the mere pumping of petrol can make someone a winner. Caltex had recently announced the winners of their recent RON97 promotion. The RON97 Promotion kicked off on 16 August, 2015 and took place over a period of 6 weeks before ending on 30 September, 2015. During the 6-week campaign, Chevron rewarded more than 190 lucky customers with a share of over RM110,000 worth of prizes.
From the amount stated above, there were 12 super lucky people who won the grand prize of RM5,000 in cash each. Imagine how much Caltex RON97 can you fill with RM5,000. Wish I took part.

Schools in Melaka and Negeri Sembilan to benefit from CALTEX FUEL YOUR SCHOOL CAMPAIGN

Chevron Malaysia Limited, which markets the Caltex brand here in Malaysia, is allocating a total sum of RM250,000 to continue on its annual Caltex Fuel Your School campaign (“the campaign”) in partnership with MyKasih Foundation. This campaign is now in its fourth year and it aims to fund eligible classroom projects – an approach to deliver inspiring classroom sessions for students to further promote the learning of Science, Technology, English and Mathematics (STEM) subjects, this year in Malacca and Negeri Sembilan.
This year’s campaign reaches out to public schools in Malacca and Negeri Sembilan, with a total of 50 classroom projects to be awarded – 25 projects from schools in Malacca and 25 projects from schools in Negeri Sembilan. The selection of projects will be based on the creative and innovative use of requested project materials which promotes a hands-on learning experience in the classroom and meets the existing classrooms curriculum objectives.
