There is a new  Isuzu D-Max variant that will be launched here in Malaysia. The 2025 Isuzu D-Max Low-Ride 4x2 MT pick-up truck which Isuzu Malaysia says is dependable yet versatile workhorse and one that is aimed at urban and sub-urban businesses that require easy loading, excellent space and low running costs to boost their business efficiency yet being affordable. This new variant has similar specifications with the base Isuzu D-Max 1.9-litre Single Cab variant with some minor enhancements to it. The new Isuzu D-Max Low-Ride will be available exclusively with the  1.9-litre RZ4E-TC engine mated to a robust six-speed manual gearbox to ensure lower ownership and running costs. It also comes with a  5-year or 150,000km warranty for peace of mind.

“As a world leader in the manufacture of commercial vehicles, Isuzu continues to offer vehicles that bring good value and low running costs to its owners. The new Isuzu D-Max Low-Ride is no exception. Its uncomplicated yet robust design, versatile configuration and efficient powertrain ensure that customers will enjoy one of the lowest ownership costs of any pick-up truck in the market,” said Chief Executive Officer of Isuzu Malaysia Mr Shunsuke Okazoe.

With a load deck that is only 78 cm above ground, the Isuzu D-Max Low-Ride’s load area is exceptionally convenient to access. Large items are easily loaded and unloaded while smaller items remain within easy reach. Coupled to load bay is the spacious cabin that comfortably seats five making this the ideal vehicle for businesses that require movement of manpower and equipment to provide on-site services. With that lower car-like suspension over the regular D-Max, it actually suits the urban setting in which most of these pickup trucks are used in and around Malaysia.

Despite being the most affordable pick-up truck in the market, the new Isuzu D-Max Low- Ride does not sacrifice comfort and safety. It comes with fabric seats, a single-DIN Bluetooth-ready entertainment system, tilt and telescopic adjustment for the steering column, central locking and electronically-adjustable door mirrors. Decent basic specs for most people and basically, what you need without frills.

The new Isuzu D-Max Low-Ride is endowed with a host of safety features including Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Hill Descent Control (HDC).
