Perodua Tweckbot Free Mobile Inspection Service Continues This Merdeka Month - At the PLUS Rawang R&R Northbound 24 & 25 August 2019

Perodua has been busy during the recent Hari Raya Aidil Adha celebrations with their road safety Tweckbot complementary mobile vehicle inspection service. However, they are not stopping there as they are continuing its road safety push this Merdeka month with th 50 point Tweckbot inspection deployed at the northbound Rawang rest area on the PLUS Highway on the 24th and 25h of August 2019.

Tweckbot will next be deployed at the northbound Rawang rest area on the PLUS Highway, 24 and 25 August, from 10 am to 5 pm. Customers who inspect their vehicle with Tweckbot will get a voucher that can be used to redeem a 20% discount on parts and accessories at any authorised Perodua service centre. So, head over there as there are also many offers a Perodua vehicle owner can take advantage of.

The Perodua Tweckbot service is the Malaysian company's long-running complimentary mobile vehicle inspection service. It provides an invaluable service to the community by checking their vehicles’ roadworthiness in preparation for long drives during festive periods such as the period we are in right now (which falls with a week long school holiday at the moment). To date, the Perodua Tweckbot service has inspected over 8,000 vehicles since its 2011 inception.

“The 50-point Tweckbot inspection includes checks to the engine, transmission, cooling system, brakes, power steering, clutch, tyres, suspension and electrics, and will give our customers total peace of mind for the long journeys ahead,” said Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

Perodua recently participated in the launch of the Hulu Selangor District Council’s ‘Fly the
Jalur Gemilang’ Programme at Kuala Kubu Bharu Mini Stadium, where Tweckbot inspected a total of 60 customer vehicles throughout the day.

“Tweckbot aims to promote the importance of checking one’s vehicle regularly, to service them at authorised Perodua service centres and to only use genuine Perodua products and parts, all in the name of safety,” added Dato’ Zainal.

Perodua had set up a booth at the event where it engaged visitors with various activities designed to spread the safety message. It also had on display its GearUp ISOFIX Child Seats as well as its many internal and external safety initiatives. They are definitely pushing through with their road safety initiatives. We personally love the fact that the company is actually pursuing the child safety seat issue as many Malaysian families still do not use child seats in their cars.

Perodua hopes it can share knowledge and awareness of the importance of safety with the close-knit community that is the Malaysian public. The upcoming Merdeka will mark 62 years of Malaysian independence and it is their hope that Malaysians minds too can be liberated to embrace and prioritise safety in every aspect of our lives. Stop thinking that your hands are good enough protection to hold on to your child during an accident or that nothing could happen to you. Anything could happen.

So again, if you are going up north during the 24th or 25th August 2019, stop by the Perodua Tweckbot inspection so that you can find out the condition of your car. A safe and reliable car helps also helps the overall safety of any road as it will allow the occupants reach their destination without any breakdowns or accidents due to faulty parts.
