Happenings: Team Isuzu Raises Funds For Sarawak Charities by Participating in the Kuching Marathon 2019


Members of Team Isuzu, which included the Isuzu Malaysia CEO, Koji Nakamura had participated in the Kuching Marathon 2019 earlier today (18 August 2019). They had handed over mock cheques of the funds / pledges raised by the team to Hope Place Kuching and Persatuan OKU Kuching at a small ceremony at the event.

The funds were partly raised through pledges made by Isuzu dealers in Sarawak. These included Dai Max Automobile, KM Mobil and Rhino Motors who were also represented at the ceremony by Terry Tiong Ung Hung, Tan Kim Hoon and Amy Lim respectively. Receiving the pledges on behalf of Hope Place Kuching was its founder, Kelvin Wan Kwong Wei while Persatuan OKU Kuching was represented by its founder, Shen Chiu Hsian. 

The Isuzu Kuching Marathon 2019 team comprised of management and staff from Isuzu Malaysia as well as members of the media. They ran various distances in the event as part of their efforts to raise funds for local charity. 

“It was a tremendous effort by the Team to participate in the marathon and to raise funds for charity. I am grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this, particularly members of the media who have been extremely supportive of the cause,” said Nakamura.
