It's time to go to the nearest Ford showroom. The ‘Ford Ranger Weekend Sales Carnival’ for Peninsular Malaysia is now ongoing until October 2019. Visitors to the sales carnival have the chance to win great prizes as well as exclusive Ford merchandise while exploring and experiencing the Ford Ranger Raptor and Ranger WildTrak pickup trucks through educational games and activities.
Notable activities include visitors experiencing the first and only truck that can park itself via the Ford Ranger’s Semi-Automatic Parallel Parking activity. The Ford Ranger is the first and only pickup truck with smart functionality at the moment on sale here in Malaysia, where it makes parking in tight narrow city spots is made easier.
Aside from that, visitors also have the chance to participate in the ‘One Finger Challenge’ which shows off the Ranger’s Easy Lift Tailgate, another first and only in-class feature in a pickup. Here, visitors will have a go at opening and closing the Ranger’s tailgate with just one finger. What this does is showcase the reduction of effort of up to 70% of the Ranger’s tailgate weight.
On the Ranger Raptor side of things, visitors will hunt for its FOX Racing Shox by using a mirror panel. The FOX Racing Shox being the first and only race-bred suspension in a pickup truck delivers 30 percent more wheel travel to tackle tough terrain at top speeds. So this very simple activity will allow those who try it out to view the performance tuned suspension part in better detail.
Those that place a booking on any Ford Ranger variant during the carnival period will be in the running to win an athletic bicycle to complement their active or adventurous Ranger lifestyle. Book now and you may win a bicycle which you can throw at the back of the pickup truck.
Meanwhile as part of its ongoing Merdeka promotion, customers who purchase either the Ranger WildTrak or Ranger Raptor in the month of August until 30 September 2019, will enjoy free maintenance for two years and a PETRONAS Gift Card worth RM1,000. Customers who purchase the Ranger WildTrak during this promotional period will also receive a rebate of RM3,000.
