Pictorial: At the Volkswagen Fest 2017 in Setia City Convention Centre - New and Classic Volkswagen Cars Converge

The Volkswagen Fest 2017 is happening this weekend. I was there yesterday and here are some of the photos I took. It is on till tomorrow, the 13th of August 2017 and it is held on the grounds of the Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam. It is something that would be a memorable experience if you like viewing old, classic Volkswagen cars like the Beetle, Kombi and even the Karmann Ghia. And then, there are the sales bargains too.

I saw a pre-reg ex-dealer Golf GTI above going for a low RM146,000 and also Passat 1.8 going for RM129,000. These have low mileage on them and come with warranty too. There are also Polo going for RM30,000 with about 50,000km on the clock. Pretty low considering its age.

There are many offers and deals as most of the dealers have their own tents displaying their ex-demo/company cars as well as offering deals and rebates too. There are also other tents which hold a finance company for those that want to apply for hire-purchase loans, Fitness First is also there for the lifestyle part, food trucks, a car detailer and Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia's after sales free 20 point checks for current Volkswagen vehicles - at the Get to know your VW tent space. Test drives too, of course.

Of course, there are the classic Volkswagen cars and memorabilia / official products on sale too. Quite worth the drive down to Setia City. It is on till tomorrow.

The Beetle Dune - This one is going for RM129,000! It has the more potent 150ps/250Nm 1.4 TSI engine
The limited to 16 units only Volkswagen Beetle 60th Merdeka Edition (based on the 1.2 TSI) & the newly launched Jetta ALLSTAR (below

 The newer Microbus

 Kombi and Beetle
A Karmann Ghia, Beetles and a Kombi
 Flowerpower rules supreme...
Slightly different from the norm -  bug with whale tail and upward exhaust tailpipes, cal-look and another modded one.
