Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has now made the V222 S 400 h S-Class with the AMG Line styling package. The Malaysian Mercedes-Benz S400h AMG Line comes with sportier looks on the outside where the AMG body styling kit, perforated brake discs and 19 inch AMG alloy wheels are now fitted. Inside, you still get all the quality leather, black poplar type of wood trimming that befits a S-Class but it now comes with an AMG multifunction sports type steering wheel and AMG sports pedals. As with the S 400 h that was on sale here, it is highly specced out in terms of equipment, with the fully reclining ottoman type rear seats where comfort reigns supreme. It is actually better to be driven in one than driving one.
Performance figures of the S 400 h AMG Line are similar to the one we see on our roads. 0-100kmh is despatched in 6.8 seconds and it tops out at 250km/h. This car takes full advantage of its hybrid powertrain set up where a 3.0liter V6 is mated to an electric motor to give pretty good fuel consumption and performance at the same time.
