BMW Malaysia will be showcasing its leadership in electro mobility at the Born Electric: The BMW i Roadshow which will be touring Peninsular Malaysia throughout October to December this year. Stops will include the Klang Valley, Johor, Kelantan, Kedah and Penang.
The BMW Group has achieved success with its visionary mobility portfolio globally ever since it had introduced the BMW i sub brand back in 2013. Last year, they had delivered over 100,000 electrified vehicles and are now currently on track to deliver another 140,000 vehicles globally in 2018.
BMW Malaysia follows this global aspiration with electro mobility vehicles comprising of 55% of the premium automaker’s deliveries in the country. This basically drives innovation, local assembly capabilities, awareness on new and clean technology for the automotive industry as well as changing the infrastructure for premium vehicles in Malaysia. Since many of the cars are assembled locally, our technicians and people actually understand first hand what efficient, electro-mobility vehicles do and what their benefits are.
