More customer touchpoints for Volkswagen over in Sabah! Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) and Kota Bumi Sdn Bhd recently launched theVolkswagen Kota Bumi 3S centre which is located in Inanam, Sabah which is one of the automotive hubs in and around the Kota Kinabalu area. It is the only authorized Volkswagen dealership in Sabah and it is the 18th Volkswagen 3S centre in Malaysia to date.
The Volkswagen Kota Bumi is a one-stop centre which will serve Volkswagen owners in the region such as Inanam, Menggatal, Lintas, Kolombong, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Sepanggar. It will be providing sales and aftersales services which includes diagnosis, repairs and maintenance services.
The centre has three floors with the showroom being able to display two cars. The aftersales or servicing area has four service bays which are manned by three experienced aftersales staff, capable of servicing up to 16 cars daily. Other services offered here include insurance and vehicle trade-ins, road tax renewal, engine overhaul and 24 hours’ breakdown assistance. As an added value service, the 3S Centre also provides pick-up and delivery services to customers(upon request), as well as a free car wash.
Mr Carlwin Yee, Dealer Principal of Kota Bumi Sdn Bhd said that the company is committed to ensuring a positive ownership experience for Volkswagen customers in Sabah. He said, “We started as a 2S service centre but we saw a rise in the demand for Volkswagen cars, and we took the opportunity to further expand and build the Volkswagen brand here in the region. We also relocated to a new and strategic area to cater to this demand, and to better serve our existing customers.”
Mr Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM added, “Ensuring the joy of ownership in owning a Volkswagen is our priority, and key to this is our customer satisfaction. This shows that Volkswagen is slowly gaining its footing in Malaysia again. 18 full fledged 3S centres is a positive sign and with this added presence over in Sabah, it does show that the team at VPCM are still pushing things forward.
Volkswagen Kota Bumi3S Centre operates from Monday to Saturday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. It is closed on Sundays.
