Important news for those of you who are in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah this weekend. Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, will be bringing the Next-Generation Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi Turbo Diesel Show-and-Tell event to Sabah from 21 to 23 July 2023. The three-day event is set to take place at the Likas Complex Area in Kota Kinabalu, from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm. There, you can even test drive the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel across a specially designed off-road route.

Politeknik Sandakan Sabah Signs Up With the Scania Ecolution Agreement for their Current Scania Bus

Politeknik Sandakan Sabah (PSS) has become the first Institute of Higher Learning in Malaysia enter into the Scania Ecolution Partnership Agreement. The Scania Ecolution programme is where Scania customers get the necessary training and coaching as well as maintenance on their vehicles so that they run cleaner and more efficient vehicles thereby lowering the carbon footprint and lessen the impact of transportation on the environment. This signing of this agreement is for their 2012 Scania K360IB4X2 student coach / bus and should help them towards their goal of being a green campus by 2023.

Ford and its Malaysian distributors, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), recently launched Ford’s flagship safe driver training programme, Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) for the first time ever over in Sabah, East Malaysia. Perodua has announced that is would like for their new SUV, the Perodua Aruz, to top the SUV sales charts over in Sabah and Sarawak. The two states, make up East Malaysia and is a predominantly SUV-driven market. This new target by Perodua was announced at the flag off for the Perodua Aruz TransBorneo Convoy, where six Perodua Aruz will travel from Kuching, Sarawak to Tawau in Sabah. This is a 1,500km journey and should be a journey that will prove the capabilities of the Aruz SUV for the people over there.
