Zero GST: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Announces Updated Prices In Line With The Temporary 0% GST Period

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has now announced price reductions for their passenger cars following the update of Goods and Services Tax by the Malaysian government which will come into play on 1st June 2018. The prices of all Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles will undergo a price reduction as an effect of the reduction of GST from six percent (6%) to zero percent (0%) and should continue until further notice upon the re-implementation of the previous SST taxation scheme.

Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) has announced new revised prices for the entire Porsche model range which will take effect from June 1 2018. This is in line with the new zero-rated GST implementation announced by the government. The new prices will be effective until the re-implementation of the Sales and Services Tax (SST) which is said to be reimplemented by the 1st of September 2018 according to the news earlier today.

TC Euro Cars (TCEC), the authorised distributors of Renault in Malaysia, have announced the new Zero GST prices for its Renault vehicles. The revised prices will take effect immediately with the upcoming implementation of the zero-rated GST (from the 1st of June 2018 onwards) till further notice.
