Earlier today, Stellantis Malaysia announced that the Leapmotor C10 and B10 EV SUVs are now locally assembled at Stellantis Gurun, Kedah and will be available at all authorised dealers nationwide. This milestone reflects Stellantis’ long-term commitment to expand localised manufacturing, driving local EV production, and making advanced, innovative electric mobility accessible to Malaysians. Stellantis is the group which also own brands like Fiat, Maserati, Jeep, and Peugeot. The Leapmotor brand is their EV venture.
According to Stellantis, they have made a total investment of EUR 5.3 million dedicated to the development of localised production capabilities, alongside production line and infrastructure upgradesat the Gurun plant. Leapmotor and Stellantis operate under a unified global compliance framework, ensuring uncompromising manufacturing standards across all locally assembled units.
To somewhat coincide with the local assembly programme, there are New Colours For The Leapmotor C10
The locally assembled Leapmotor C10 will have two new exterior shades, Violet and Lightning White, alongside Canopy Grey and Glazed Green. Inside, the C10 continues to be fitted with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, baby-friendly silicone textile. The Glazed Green exterior is paired with a Camel Brown interior, while all other body colours feature a sleek Black cabin.
If you aren't aware, the C10 is powered by a 69.9 kWh battery pack paired with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous motor producing 218 hp and 320 Nm, the locally assembled C10 offers a zero-emissiondriving range of up to 424 KM on a full charge (WLTP).
As for the Leapmotor B10...
..It is positioned as Leapmotor’s global strategic C-segment electric SUV built on the LEAP3.5 architecture, the locally assembled Leapmotor B10 is now available in Malaysia in a single DESIGN variant, equipped with a 67.1 kWh battery pack that delivers a driving range of up to 434 KM (WLTP).
The B10 is now available in four exterior colours: Starry Night Blue, Tundra Grey, Metallic Black, and Light White. All exterior choices are paired exclusively with a sophisticated Dark Grey interior, offering a contemporary, tech-forward aesthetic complemented by an OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified upholstery.
Enhanced Convenience for All Leapmotor Owners moving forward post local assembly announcement
Leapmotor is introducing an optional physical Remote Key Fob for both the C10 and B10. Reaffirming Leapmotor’s commitment to customer care and elevated ownership experience, this accessory is now available for both newly registered vehicles and existing owners nationwide.
In August 2026, Leapmotor delivered a record 103,129 vehicles globally, surpassing the 100,000-unit threshold, building from July’s historic achievement, and marking its fifth consecutive month of all-time delivery records. August deliveries surged by 80.72% year-on-year (YoY), placing Leapmotor among the top 4 global passenger NEV brands and top 3 among Chinese brands. Leapmotor delivered a total of 560,883 vehicles in the first eight months of 2026, a 70.55% YoY increase that retains its leadership position among emerging Chinese NEV brands worldwide.

The locally assembled Leapmotor C10 retails at RM125,000, while the Leapmotor B10 retails at RM118,800. Both models come backed by an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first.
