Zero GST: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Announces Updated Prices In Line With The Temporary 0% GST Period



Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has now announced price reductions for their passenger cars following the update of Goods and Services Tax by the Malaysian government which will come into play on 1st June 2018. The prices of all Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles will undergo a price reduction as an effect of the reduction of GST from six percent (6%) to zero percent (0%) and should continue until further notice upon the re-implementation of the previous SST taxation scheme. 


Being a long established player in the Malaysian automotive industry, Mercedes-Benz is committed to its operations here and are always in adherence with all requirements and regulations that are enforced by the relevant government authorities. As such, in line with the reduction in GST, prices of Mercedes-Benz premium vehicles have now been adjusted to show a drop. Time to take advantange folks!

The World Cup campaign which runs from May 1, 2018 to July 15, 2018 is ongoing.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia's Activities To Date
So far, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s highlights for 2018 include the launch of two AMG vehicles - a first for the region,  the Mercedes-AMG C 43 and Mercedes-AMG GLC 43. They also introduced the EQ brand, or sub-brand which saw the re-designation of the C 350 e and E 350 e plug-in hybrids as EQ Power models.

As after sales is the key to long term customer satisfaction, the marque has continued its push for the further expansion and enhancement of customer contact points. This year Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launched the updated and expanded NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus, the new Hap Seng Star Puchong South Autohaus and Auto Commerz Service Centre in Setapak.


Aside from that, there have been quite a number of lifestyle events hosted by the marque. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia hosted  the 28th edition of the MercedesTrophy golf tournament, Mercedes-Benz EQ Brand Exhibition which also marked the local and regional premiere of the Mercedes-Benz Concept EQ, and the first ever Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Kuala Lumpur.
