The New Facelifted Volkswagen Golf Mk7.5 is Now Available For Booking In Malaysia

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has unveiled the Volkswagen Golf facelift here and they are now accepting bookings at all authorised dealerships throughout the country. The new Golf, known as the Golf Mk 7.5, will have a 4 variant lineup -  the Golf TSI 1.4 in Sportline (the new base mode) and R-Line (the base model with a sportier bodykit), the Golf GTI and the range topping Golf R. Prices start at RM155,990 for the fully imported hatchback.

The first ever overall champion of the Vios Challenge will be crowned. The one make challenge series is being held as part of the Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) Racing Festival it will conclude a race series where 40 identically-built Toyota Vios racing cars competing in three classes race against each other.

Volkswagen Is The Official Automotive Partner For The Le Tour de Langkawi 2018

BMW Group Malaysia has launched the first ever BMW X2 here in Malaysia at an event right smack in the Golden Triangle, Kuala Lumpur. The X2 is the newest member of what BMW calls their Sports Activity Coupes or for those that want a more common way of calling it, the premium compact sporty crossover vehicle. The BMW X2 that will be sold here will be the BMW X2 sDrive20i M Sport variant which will cost RM320,800 (on the road, without insurance, and with BMW Group Malaysia’s latest 5 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty, Free Scheduled Service Programme and BMW Tyre Warranty Programme) and it is fully imported. 

National Emission Test Centre (NETC) Officially Opens - The First Full Fledge Vehicle Emissions Test Facility in Malaysia

The National Emission Test Centre (NETC) was officially opened earlier today. This is the first full fledged vehicle emissions testing facility in Malaysia. The RM50 million centre, which is located in Rawang, includes real-time measurement of exhaust emission gases for passenger cars in accordance with UN Regulation 83 and 101 of which Malaysia is one of the first adopters in the South East Asian region. Also, in conjunction with the NETC launch, the launching of the Voluntary EEV Labelling Scheme also took place, followed by Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchanges between MAI and the Department of Environment (DOE) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

At the Malaysian Leg of 'The Art of Performance' Jaguar Driving Experience - Driving the Jaguar F-Pace 2.0

I had the opportunity to attend and participate in the Malaysian leg of Jaguar's The Art of Performance driving experience roadshow. This is part of the marque's Southeast Asian tour where it showcases how a Jaguar car performs. Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia took the opportunity to display the upcoming Jaguar F-Pace 2.0 SUV. It should be launched in Malaysia very soon and brings a more road tax affordable sporting SUV to the plate.

Lexus Malaysia has officially launched its flagship premium luxury sedan, the fifth generation, 2018 Lexus LS. Ever since the first LS made its global debut in 1989, the premium Japanese marque has continued striving for perfection whilst carving a niche for itself in the premium car segment. This new one is quite overdue, as it has been ten years since the fourth-generation LS was launched. The Malaysian distributors of Vespa, Naza Premira Sdn Bhd, has launched the 2018 Vespa GTS Super 300. The new 2018 Vespa GTS Super takes the iconic design of an Italian scooter and infuses it with a little more performance than the usual 150cc grunt. UMW Toyota Refreshes the Toyota Sienta for 2018 - Only One Variant is Offered, Down from Two

Toyota Sienta, the Toyota compact MPV which looks like an oversized basketball shoe or sneaker gets some changes for 2018. First introduced over in Malaysia in August of 2017, the Sienta was a breath of fresh air to some with its unique styling and looks. Whatever the styling was, the compact MPV was actually well designed with a lot of useful features. I personally found it quirky and nice to look at. Anyway, UMW Toyota have now decided that this year, there will be only one variant offered - the Sienta 1.5V.

UMW Toyota Launches the Hilux L-Edition - Luxury Spec in 2.8L & 2.4L 4x4 AT Forms

UMW Toyota, the official distributors of Toyota here have launched the Toyota Hilux L-Edition in both 2.8 litre AT 4x4 and 2.4 litre AT 4x4 variants. The ‘L’  hererefers to ‘Luxury’ and was launched to add more variety to the Hilux line-up here in Malaysia. Prices start at RM119,300 for the 2.4 L-Edition and from RM133,900 for the 2.8 L-Edition.
