The 2018 Vespa GTS Super 300 is Now Available in Malaysia

The Malaysian distributors of Vespa, Naza Premira Sdn Bhd, has launched the 2018 Vespa GTS Super 300. The new 2018 Vespa GTS Super takes the iconic design of an Italian scooter and infuses it with a little more performance than the usual 150cc grunt. This time, with its 300cc Quasar engine,  it could be Vespa’s most dynamic scooter as you get that Vespa looks but with a sportier tune to it. Many could be surprised that this scooter may be able to outgun some 250cc sports bikers at the traffic lights.

HAPPENINGS: Caltex concludes its True Power from Within’ Promotion with the announcement of the grand prize winners which each win a Vespa Scooter

Chevron Malaysia Limited, which markets the Caltex brand here in Malaysia has concluded its ‘True Power from Within’ Promotion. The promotion, which kicked off in May this year was held in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of the popular blockbuster movie, Transformers with the latest release being Transformers: The Last Knight. This conclusion comes with the announcement of the grand prize of a Vespa Scooter awarded to each of the 12 winners. 

Six new Vespa models displayed at 70th Anniversary Vespa celebration in Publika Shopping Gallery, Kuala Lumpur

I actually went to see some Vespa scooters at the recent Malaysian Vespa 70th Anniversary Celebrations. A big thing since I am not really a bike kinda guy. But this is a Vespa. Something cute, cuddly and very Italian. Not to mention a style icon. I like style icons.  The event, “The Largest Vespa Gathering”, was held at Publika Shopping Gallery last Saturday, 19th November 2016.
