UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT), the official distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles in Malaysia have announced new prices for its vehicles beginning 15 June 2020 and should be valid till 31 December 2020, following the incentives provided to the Malaysian automotive industry announced by the Prime Minister. This is to try bolster the automotive industry which has slowed down a lot due to the coronavirus Movement Control Order applied to the country.
The folks at UMWT believe that Toyota vehicles are now more affordable than ever. Customers should take this opportunity to upgrade or purchase a new Toyota if they can afford it. All relief from the new tax structure have been factored into the new pricing including their CBU (fully imported) model line-up.
According to UMWT, vehicle prices have been reduced from between 1% to 6% overall after the tax breaks are factored into. In addition to the above, Toyota also announced the new price with its latest monthly Sales Promotion and Rebates.
